The 2018 edition of ACSC will be held at the Sofitel Ivoire Hotel from October 24th to October 26th. The digital transformation of African economies has led to the creation of innovative technological innovations such as mobile money, digital tax collection, electronique payments, government, and a slew of others critical social and cultural changes. This paradigm shift has opened different perspective of looking at the data and its value to an economy; especially an emerging African economy. With these innovations, came some challenges such as cyber-crime. Indeed, 2017 experienced devastating global cyber-attacks such as Not Pyeta, Wannacry amongst others. Cyber-crime is estimated to cost the world economies over $444B annually according to MacAfee. The Africa Cyber Security Conference (ACSS) offers a unique gathering of Cyber Security experts which brings together industry leaders, thought leaders, technology leaders, startups, investors, academics, diplomats,and other government officials around a collective Digital Transformation Assurance.
