12 The Colours Hotel Project The Air of The Colours Hotel is secured by Aya Grup. Colours Istanbul, the newest member of The Colours Hotels, has come into service in the centre of attraction, Güneşli. One of the recent favourite hotels both in The Colours Hotels group and Istanbul, Colours Istanbul consists of 3 basement floors, the ground floor, 11 typical floors and the penthouse. The hotel welcomes its guests with 160 rooms, a restaurant and a bar, an indoor pool, a fitness centre, amenity centres, meeting rooms and a parking garage for 60-vehicle capacity. In this respect, we have integrated the air-conditioning project to a large-scale structure. Samsung VRF systems have been used in the air-conditioning of The Colours Istanbul. 23 outdoor units with 1030 KW power capacity have been used in the hotel which has been divided into 10 different zones in order to achieve system efficiency. Thanks to variable refrigerant inverter compressor, we aimed minimum energy consumption in partial load. Comfort, silence and aesthetics, the most important features for hotels, were among the topics we concentrate on our operation. For this purpose, we preferred low static pressure duct type devices as indoor unit in the hotel rooms. Finally, we used 4-way cassette type devices to ensure the equal distribution of the climate we created. We completed the project with a total of 235 indoor units. Of course, the easy and convenient control for The Colours Hotel air-conditioning system was also important. We implemented the central management system in the project by employing individual controllers as well as other controller that can operate from a single point. Also the system that we set up made it possible to archive all the data related to device management on a computer system with high security.
