1 SELLING MOPAR VEHICLE PROTECTION PLANS WITH WIADVISOR
2 1 Note: Before your dealership can begin to sell Mopar Vehicle Protection Plans with wiadvisor, you must first perform some administrative steps as outlined in the document titled: Selling Mopar Vehicle Protection Plans with wiadvisor Dealer Setup. This document is attached with the 1.7 Release Notes, and is available in the KnowledgeBase. Once your dealership has completed the required setup, you will be able to use this feature to sell MVP Plans with wiadvisor. Additionally, wiadvisor will handle the processing of the MVP Plan application for you! Your dealership will no longer need to apply the contract to a VIN in DealerCONNECT. On the Build RO Tab, you will see a new section on the left-hand pane titled Eligible Mopar Vehicle Protection Plans located below the Triage section and above Dealer Recommended Maintenance. Eligible MVP Plans are not immediately displayed; the user must initiate the displaying of eligible plans by clicking the Display button.
3 2 Once the user clicks Display, the status bar will momentarily display a message indicating that the list of eligible Plans is being created. After a few seconds the eligible offers for the VIN, Customer Name and Mileage that are currently entered in wiadvisor will display in the section below the header box.
4 3 To select an eligible MVP Plan to be added to the RO, the user simply clicks the check box next to the contract plan, just like any other service in wiadvisor. The Plan will then be added to the right-hand pane. A Promo Code box will be available for those dealers participating in any special promotions or contests pertaining to the sale on MVP Plans. This code will be added to the contract application when wiadvisor attempts to add the new Plan to the VIN.
5 4 In addition to the Eligible MVP Plans being displayed on the left-hand pane of the Build RO tab, the user can also generate a new PDF document which will contain the Eligible Offers and Plan details by clicking the button at the top of the screen labeled MVP Plans. (This report is also available at the end of the wiadvisor Push with the other documents, but ONLY if the user clicked the Display button while on the Build RO tab, or clicked the MVP Plans button at the top of the screen. The link to the report will not appear after the wiadvisor push if neither of these actions were taken during the write-up process.)

7 6 Once the user completes the write-up process and pushes the RO, wiadvisor will attempt to add the selected contract(s) to the VIN. If successful, no error message will be displayed on the final screen.
8 7 ERROR MESSAGES AND SPECIAL CASES Vehicle Not Eligible for a Service Contract: If the vehicle is not eligible for a service contract, the message below will be shown when the user clicks Display : Mileage Discrepancy Error: If a user attempts to view the Eligible MVP Plans but has a mileage currently entered that is less than a previously recorded mileage, the error message below will display. The user will not be able to view or select any contracts in this case. If the original mileage entered was an error, updating to a higher mileage and then re-clicking Display will show the Eligible Contracts, if any apply.
9 8 Application Rejected Error Message: In some rare cases a contract application may be rejected. This is typically seen if a user attempts to add 2 or more contracts to a VIN on the same RO that are not compatible together. It is important to note that if a user sees this message after completing the push, the contracts that were selected were NOT applied to the VIN. Dealers will need to use DealerCONNECT to add the contract(s), and may need to adjust the RO in your DMS accordingly. All contracts that were selected will push into your DMS (if applicable) regardless of whether or not the contract application is successful. This is a limitation of the system and cannot be changed. Also it should be noted that in this rare circumstance, wiadvisor Reporting may be inaccurate in cases where contracts are pushed to an RO but are not actually sold to the customer.
