1 TEACHER GUIDE
2 What is Flipgrid? Flipgrid is the leading video discussion platform used by PreK to PhD educators, students, and families around the world. Teachers post topics to spark the conversation and students respond with short videos. Bring the back row to the front and engage ALL your students! What to expect? The purpose of this guide is to instruct teachers how to create a Flipgrid for your classroom to use with your students. This guide will be detailed with step by step directions as well as images. Some of the benefits of learning how to use this tool will help amplify your students voices, elevate communities and engage digital citizenship. Flipgrid Teacher Guide Flipgrid has a condensed start guide to help teachers get started using Flipgrid. Click Teachers Here for that PDF. Flipgrid Student Guide Flipgrid has a condensed start guide to help students get started using Flipgrid. Click Students Here for that PDF. Flipgrid Technology Requirements Almost any device with a camera and an internet connection can use Flipgrid. On PCs, Macs and Chromebooks, your students will record from a browser. On mobile devices, students will need to download the free Flipgrid ios and Android apps (mobile browsers do not support recording). Flipgrid works best with the latest version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. In addition, Flipgrid is supported by all modern web browsers. Please see the chart below as a reference to how Flipgrid works across browsers: 2
