From the App Store, search for. 2. Under ipad Apps, press Free. 3. The app will be placed on your ipad in a few moments. Education Services March 5, 2014 App v

2 Launch App 1. Once you download, press the app icon to open. 2. A welcome screen will appear. Press Next to go through the welcome tutorial. 3. Press Done to move to the main screen. Overview Education Services March 5, 2014 App v

3 Write/Draw 1. Press a color at the top of the screen. 2. Press your finger or stylus to the ipad to write. New Page 1. Create multiple pages for the recording by pressing the right arrow at the bottom of the screen. 2. If the right arrow is not active, draw on the screen first to activate the arrow. 3. Use the left and right arrow to move through the screens. Import Images 1. Press the image icon at the top of the page. 2. Select Choose From Library. 3. Choose Camera Roll or Photostream. 4. Press on the image and it will appear on the screen. 5. Touch the image to move and edit. A format menu bar will appear to rotate, duplicate, adjust size, and lock. If you would like easily write on an image or pdf document, lock the item in place. It will not move as your annotate the document. Education Services March 5, 2014 App v

4 Import from Dropbox 1. Import a pdf file from Dropbox by pressing the image icon at the top of the page. 2. Press Choose From Dropbox. 3. Dropbox will open. Press the allow button to access Dropbox from. 4. A list of Dropbox files will appear. 5. Press on the image file and it will appear on the screen. 6. A menu bar will appear to edit the file. Record 1. Narrate your document and writing by pressing the record button in the top right corner. 2. Once you are done recording, press Save Lesson. 3. A box will appear for you to type a title and description of the lesson. 4. Press Next. 5. Choose to make the lesson private or public. If you already have an account setup with your school listed, you can choose additional settings including My School and My Students. See page 6 to set up your school. 6. If you do not have an account, it will prompt you to register. 7. The lesson will appear in your My Lessons section. Education Services March 5, 2014 App v

5 Access from Computer 1. Access your screencast from your computer s web browser Log in to the site. If you have not created an account, click Get Started. Other options on your web browser: Set up your school: Go to Account. Choose School. Look up your school. Notifications: Under your account options, change how often you are notified by for any updates. Create a Course: From the main screen, choose Create a Course from the left sidebar. Set up a course and determine privacy. Your course will appear in the left sidebar. Add Screencasts to your course: Choose the course name in the left sidebar. Click Choose an Existing Screencast to add a screencast from your library. Add Students to the Course: From your course page, click Students. Follow the instructions to add students to your course.
