2 It is recommended that this user guide is read completely prior to installation. To backup the CPD app and submit your annual report an account must be setup on your phone. 1 2 Download and Install CPD App To Install the BDA CPD App on your phone, follow the steps below. 1. Ensure your phone is connected to Wi-Fi or your mobile data is turned on. 2. Go to Google Play Store or the Apple App Store and search for BDA CPD. 3. Select the BDA CPD App from the search results. 4. Select Install 5. If prompted you will need to enter your Google or Apple account username and password. Create a User 1. Start the CPD App by touching the icon. 2. At the login screen touch on New User? 3. Enter the New Member Code BDAjf2M (case sensitive). Touch Submit. 4. Enter all of your details into the member details area. The Member ID for the CPD App is your BDAA membership number. 5. Now you can login with your BDAA Member ID you just created. 6. Once the CPD App has downloaded and installed you are ready to create your user for the CPD App. 7. An account must also be setup on your phone to submit your annual CPD report, yourself backups and draft reports. 2

A total of your points for the current reporting period along with all your CPD activities will be shown. To Edit, touch on an activity to open. Make the changes necessary and touch Submit to save your changes. 3

4 5 6 Add CPD Activity with QR Code 1. Select a CPD Activity 2. Select the relating category Add CPD Activity To add a CPD activity, first touch on the Home menu and then select an activity from the list. Then select one of the categories that best fits your CPD activity. Next enter a description and date, then touch Submit to save your CPD activity. The scan QR code function is a very easy way to add an activity to the CPD app. The QR codes will look similar to the one shown below. You can open the scanner by touching on the Home screen and then scan the code to automatically add an activity to the CPD app. 4

5 7 8 Delete CPD Activity To delete an activity first touch on the Home Menu to display the list of your CPD activities, then you can touch the X next to the activity to delete. Backup Note: You will need an app set up on your phone for the backup to work. To a backup of all the CPD activities entered into the app, touch on the Home menu and confirm the address you would like to send it to. A csv file will be attached which can be opened in numerous applications including notepad, microsoft excel. 9 Touch the X to delete that CPD activity View/ Draft Annual Summary 5 Note: You will need an app set up on your phone to your draft Annual Report. To view a draft of the CPD Annual Summary Report touch on the Home menu. To a draft of the CPD Annual Summary Report touch close or the back arrow and touch Draft, confirm address and send. If you do not want to the report simply touch Cancel to return to the Home menu.

6 10 11 Submit CPD Annual Summary Note: You will need an app set up on your phone to submit your Annual Report. To view the CPD Annual Summary Report touch on the Home menu. To submit the CPD Annual Summary Report touch close or the back arrow and touch the tick for the Do you declare that this report is true and correct? and then touch Submit Annual CPD, confirm address for BDA CPD and send. Change Reporting Period If you need to update activities from a different reporting period, then touch on the Home menu to open My Details. Touch the reporting period to select the different period you need. Move down the screen and touch Submit. The app is now displaying this reporting period so return to the Home menu and touch to display the CPD activities for this reporting period. Reporting periods are from 1 July until 30 June. Touch the reporting period to select from list. 6

7 12 13 Points/Submission Summary To view the Points Summary touch on the Home menu. The Points Summary shows what reporting periods have been submitted to BDA, the total points in the submission and also the carry over points to the next reporting period. Edit My Details To update your details like phone number, address etc. Touch on the Home menu to open the My Details screen, make the changes you require and then touch Submit to save your changes. 7
