1 32 BIT GALACTIC TRADER NEW TOOLS AND FUNCTIONS FROM RECENT UPGRADES END OF DAY VERSION: Now allows Saturday and Sunday bars. QUOTE SCREEN: Now has the added option to print. FEEDERS: New Quote.Com. Now you can collect real time data using the provider Quote.com, you can download daily data or one minute bars to update your intraday data from their web server. ALARMS: Select a WAV file as your sound alarm. Click on UTILITIES, and DEFAULTS, choose SOUND/ALARMS tab and click on PLAY WAV FILE, then select file to use. SYSTEMS: New stop option using High/Low of N previous bars. NEW FTGT SYMBOL REAL TIME VERSION ONLY: In the 32 bit program, we have added the FTGT symbol to the Contract setup window. Why are we using the FTGT symbol? There are many data feeders where the symbol format is very long, or numbers, like IBM EQUITY,[LAST TRADE] or USH7,PRIM ACT 1 or The FTGT symbol is a simple symbol format. We are trying to create a standard symbol for all users. For stocks we will use the normal stock symbol, IBM, INTC, MSFT, C, etc. For commodities we will use the SYMBOL MONTH YEAR format like USH9, SPH9, WH9, etc., with no spaces. For groups use US?!, SP?!, W?!, etc., with no spaces. This FTGT can be used to download 1 minute price data from our server. Information about which symbols we store data for can be found at To download data, just double click on a plan you are viewing, and choose the option from the menu, DOWNLOAD 1 MINUTE FROM FT SITE. (You must be logged on to the internet server). Our program will go to the website and retrieve the data for that symbol, and insert it in your chart.

2 NEW QUICK OPEN WINDOW: Click on Utilities, Show Quick Open. The small Quick Open Window will appear. The parameters to type are : R, M or E for the section where the chart is Real Time, Manual or End of Day, with a comma following. The FTGT symbol of this contract with a comma following. For Fibonacci/Galactic Trader: The first time frame, a comma, the second time frame, a comma and the third time frame, eg. D,W,M for Daily, Weekly, Monthly. For Galactic Trader only: The time frame, eg. D for Daily. Example: For Fibonacci/Galactic Trader, R,MSFT,D,W,M will open the Real Time contract that has the FTGT symbol MSFT with the D/W/M time frames. For Galactic Trader, R,MSFT,D will open the Real Time contract that has the FTGT symbol MSFT with the D (Daily) time frame.

3 CONTRACT LIST: Select type of view, Icon, Small Icon, List or Report. FEEDERS: Quote.com, faster download update routine, allow download of a specific time frame (not only the one minute or daily), fix download of night section data. New feeder - Marketcast Australia SPREADS: You can now select in a plan a second plan to create the spread between them. First open the first plan of the spread you wish to create. Then open the options window (shortcut - click on the Fibonacci Trader name on the chart), you will have a new tab in this window called SPREADS. Click the Select Plan B button to select a same own time period as the one been used. You can change the 2 factors on the calculation, the default is 1 time plan minus 1 time plan B, you can change to any number that you want negative or positive. Click on USE THESE PARAMETERS to display the spread on the chart, to display the regular chart just deselect the USE THESE PARAMETERS box. The spread is calculated using the closing price of the plan B bar. Any bar on the main plan will look for a same time bar on plan B and make the calculation using the close of that bar, if no bar is found for the same time the nearest previuos bar closed on plan B will be used. So, if you wish to create a spread between Wheat and Soybeans, for example, on a 45-minute time frame, you must create 45 minute plans for both symbols before you create the spread. You can use any indicador and system in the spread plan.

4 EXCHANGES: On the EXCHANGES window you have now the option to add 1 hour in all time zones or subtract one hour in all time-zones. Also you have the information of the difference in hours from your computer time and New York time.

5 DEFAULTS: On the defaults window, tab SOUND/ALARMS you can create a list of symbols that you want will make a sound for each new tick. Select the JUST FOR THE SYMBOLS ON THE LIST, type a symbol and click ADD to add the symbol to the list, click on any symbol on the list and click DEL to remove the symbol from the list.

6 SYSTEMS: New options boxes on the indicators selected on the system window, if the box is checked the indicator will be displayed and used in the calculations if the box is unchecked the indicator will only be displayed. 7 PRICE TAG ON THE PLAN: You can now have a price tag moving with the market on the right side of your plan, showing you the last price of this market. To set it on or off, click on UTILITIES, DEFAULT and select or not the option SHOW PRICE TAG ON CHART. RESIZE SUB CHARTS: You can resize the sub charts in a plan. Click and hold the mouse on the square that is on the left side of the separation charts line. Move up or down and release the mouse. PLAN NOTE: You can now include a note that will show or not on the plans list window. To insert a note, double click on the chart, this will open the menu, click on CHART, and then on ADD NOTE, type your note and click OK. When you open the plan list window then right click on the right white window, the menu will appear and select the option HIDE NOTE or SHOW NOTE, this will make the note appear or not on the plan list window. CANDLESTICK: You can now select the color for the up, down or flat bar on the candlestick chart. You can do this within the UTILITES, DEFAULT Window, to set default colors for candlestick bars on all charts, or click on OPTIONS toolbar button and set colors for an individual chart. DO YOUR OWN PROGRAMMING: You can create indicators using Dynamic Link Libraries (DLLs). A DLL is a subroutine that Fibonacci Trader can link to and use dynamically. The DLL will be created using Visual Basic 6. You will need some knowledge of VB6 programming. The Fibonacci Trader will pass to your DLL all bars' information and other data as needed and your DLL will return the value of your indicator for each bar, plus the position on the market for that indicator and prices of any signals using that indicator to the Fibonacci Trader. The Fibonacci Trader will display the indicator and alarms. In addition, you will be able to use your DLL indicators in your systems. We are including in the version 3.04 two new indicators: The Dual Moving Average and the Three Moving Averages. These 2 indicators were created using this method. 8 TREND LINES WITH ALARMS: Right click on a trend line and the drop down menu now includes an alarm option.

9 CHANGE THE CONTRACT USED IN A PLAN: With this new feature you can view a plan and quickly see another contract in the same plan. Double click on the chart and select click "This contract", select "Change" or press the F12 key on your keyboard and this will open the contract list. Next, double click on the new contract and this contract will be used in that plan.

SAVE THE PLAN AS A TEMPLATE: The Template is a complete configuration of a plan, it will save all characteristics of a plan including systems, indicators, colors and price bar formats.

10 SAVE THE PLAN AS A TEMPLATE: The Template is a complete configuration of a plan, it will save all characteristics of a plan including systems, indicators, colors and price bar formats. This feature allows you to save all indicators, planetary tools, aspects, etc. that you have for a current plan as a Template, which you can then apply to other plans. To save a Template double click on the chart and select TEMPLATE, SAVE or SAVE AS NEW. SAVE will replace the actual Template in use with the parameters of the current plan. SAVE AS NEW will create a new Template with the parameters of the plan in use. To open a Template double click on the chart and select TEMPLATE and select OPEN, the Template list will appear, double click on the Template that you want. To open a Template you can also press the F8 key on your keyboard. When your plan is using a Template the Template name will appear on the bottom left corner of the plan, you can also click in this area to open the Template menu. Any plan with the option AUTOREPLACE set for ON will replace the Template in use with an edited version every time that this Template is modified, even by another plan. Example : Template 1 has a moving average of 7 periods, we open the Template 1 on plan A and B, plan A and B now have a moving average of 7 periods, we now set the Template AUTOREPLACE option ON in both plans. On Plan 1 we change the moving average to 9 periods and we click to save the Template 1, this will save the Template 1 with a moving average of 9 periods and will update the Plan 2 with this new configuration because Plan 1 uses the Template 1 and has the AUTOREPLACE option ON.

11 To delete a Template click on DELETE, the Template window will open, double click on the Template to delete. All plans that use that Template will have their Template set to none. To stop a link of a plan with a Template double click on the plan, click TEMPLATE, NO TEMPLATE. CONTRACT LIST WINDOW: Added minimize button. INDICATOR WINDOW - letter typed will search indicator name: Click on the list that you want, type the first letter, the cursor will move to the first occurrence of that letter on the list. Type the letter again, will move to the next occurrence. ADD CONTRACTS THROUGH THE EXCHANGE WINDOW- Real Time version only: This new feature will only work for Real Time version of the program and only for the Real Time section. The Exchanges window has some new features to make managing your symbols list more user friendly. We have new default settings for unit (price) and divisions.

The new symbol will be added to that exchange with the default parameters that the exchange has at that moment.

12 To create a new contract you can now set the defaults for an exchange and click the Symbols button. The Exchange Symbols window will open. Here you can right click to open a menu or press the F5 key to insert a symbol. Type the new symbol and press the ENTER key or click OK. The new symbol will be added to that exchange with the default parameters that the exchange has at that moment. This way you do not need to create contract by contract for many new symbols, just go to the Exchange Symbol list with the right default parameters and select to add by pressing F5, type the symbol and press ENTER.

For Futures contracts continue to use the Groups window, this will make the Fibonacci Trader close the expired contracts and open the new contracts automatically.

The expired contract data will be moved to the manual section as before. You can do many operations from the popup menu. You can select a group of contracts and update the data from the server (if you use a server with this capability). PROGRAMMING: Added a new item on the own period array that is passed to your dlls. The item Bar(9,i) for now has 4 possible values : 1 - this bar is the first bar of an opening next period 2 - this bar is the first bar of an opening highest period. 3 - this bar is the first bar of an opening next and highest periods. 0 - no information

BROKERS: Added an option to fill in a broker screen with an order when a system gives a buy or sell signal. For now this is working for the broker Preferred Capital Markets.

You still need to confirm the order on the broker order software on your computer, Fibonacci Trader will NOT send the order to the broker automatically. You need to select a broker in the DEFAULTS window, BROKERS tab.

15 Also on the SYSTEM Window, you will need to select the option 'Automatic order to the broker'.

16 QUOTE.COM AUTO DOWNLOAD: When opening a plan the Fibonacci Trader will automatically download the latest 100 bars from the Quote.com server. On the Select Live Feeder window the option Auto download must be selected. PRINT THE ALARM LIST: Added an option to print the alarm list Right click on the list and click on print.
