1 Request fr Prpsal 50th Anniversary Seasn Our rganizatin is accepting prpsals frm lcal advertising cmpanies t assist with ur 50th anniversary celebratin, beginning in July A descriptin f ur rganizatin, the services needed, and ther pertinent infrmatin fllws. Backgrund Ren Philharmnic Assciatin The Ren Philharmnic, starting ur 49th seasn, is nrthern Nevada s largest and mst prminent perfrming arts rganizatin. The rchestra, led by music directr Laura Jacksn, includes ver 80 prfessinal musicians and perfrms mre than 30 cncerts annually. The flagship f the Ren Phil is its cncert series ffering six classical music perfrmances, Classix, perfrmed n Sunday afternns and Tuesday evenings at the Pineer Center fr the Perfrming Arts. A staff f seven full-time emplyees and several part-time emplyees manage the day t day peratins f the rganizatin. With mre than 600 musicians within the Ren Phil cmmunity including the rchestra, chrus and yuth prgrams the rganizatin reaches ver 50,000 peple each year, including an estimated 25,000 students and yung peple. Our Plan Celebrating 50 Years Our verarching gal fr the 50th seasn ( ) is t celebrate the rganizatin s rle in the cmmunity while celebrating its histry. Thrughut the seasn we will enrich the greater musical cmmunity with artistically significant prjects. The theme f the seasn is cnnectin, the cnnectin ur past has t ur future, the cnnectin ur rganizatin has t the cmmunity, the cnnectin that ccurs during ur cncerts, etc. One majr undertaking in the 50th seasn is a Transcntinental Railrad Cmmissin Prject. We ve hired natinally recgnized cmpser Zhu Tian t cmplete the new wrk inspired by the cmpletin f the transcntinental railrad, which will be celebrating its 150 year anniversary in cnjunctin with ur 50th. There is an bvius theme f cnnectin tied t the cmpletin f the railrad that will tie int the seasn verall. We als want t fster the passins that encurage ur patrns t give a sense f being cnnected t and invested in ur cmmunity s past, present and future.

2 DELIVERABLES **PLEASE NOTE, WE HAVE RECENTLY SECURED A PRESENTING SPONSOR WHO WOULD NEED TO BE TIED IN TO ALL MATERIALS DURING THE 50TH SEASON. I. 50th Anniversary Lg Create a lg t cmmemrate the 50th Anniversary f the Ren Phil. The lg will be used in the 50th seasn nly and shuld retain cnsistency with the current branding. II. 50th Anniversary Seasn Annuncement Materials In March f every seasn, the Ren Phil annunces its upcming seasn thrugh a direct mail piece fr current Classix Subscribers (900 husehlds) encuraging them t renew fr the next year. An additinal direct mail piece is sent in June t a mailing list f 10,000-13,000 individuals in ur demgraphic target. Fr the 50th seasn, the RPA wishes t cmbine the tw direct mail pieces int an all-inclusive seasn brchure t be released t the public February 7, The multi-page brchure will include all cncert & pertinent ticket infrmatin fr the entire seasn. Please include an estimate fr any stck phtgraphy r new phtgraphy in yur final bid. We will wrk with Dynagraphics t print the brchure, and a printing estimate is nt required. Examples available upn request III. 50th Anniversary Ad Campaign The Ren Phil seeks t implement an advertising campaign in the 50th anniversary seasn t celebrate ur cnnectin t the cmmunity as well as educate the cmmunity abut upcming events & pprtunities. The agency will be respnsible fr creating, develping and implementing a multi-faceted advertising campaign that will represent, highlight and successfully cmmunicate the missin and gals f the rganizatin fr the future. The campaign shuld be created fr use acrss all platfrms print, televisin, radi, scial, web, etc. IV. 50th Anniversary Prgram Guide Cver Theme & Shell Design fr Classix The flagship f the Ren Phil is ur classical music series. We ffer six classical music cncerts frm Octber t April every seasn. Each seasn, a unique theme is attributed t the Classix and is reflected in ur advertising and highlighted n the prgram guide cver fr each cncert. The agency will identify a visual representatin fr the theme fr the seasn and select artwrk, phtgraphy r custm designs t accmpany each specific cncert. This theme shuld be cnsistent with the cnnectin theme identified fr the new seasn brchure/annuncement materials. The prgram guides are cmprised f a multi-page shell that includes infrmatin abut the rganizatin, educatin prgrams, prgram ads, bard & staff listings, music cnductr bi, etc. The cntent & cpy fr the shell will be prvided t the agency, but a new design & layut cmplementing the lk f the seasn will be required. V. 50th Anniversary Archival Prject The fifty year histry frm the Ren Phil has been dcumented ver the last tw years and will need t be cmpiled int a cmmemrative page magazine frmat. The cpy has been edited several times and will be prvided t the agency alng with newspaper clippings, ld phts, ld prgrams, etc. Digital cnversin may be required. T cver the cst f this publicatin, we will be selling ad space & an advertising sales kit will be required. The agency will be respnsible fr suggesting additinal graphics/infgraphics t add t the visual interest f the magazine. We will wrk with Dynagraphics t print the magazine, and a printing estimate is nt required. VI. 50th Anniversary Gala (In Kind Spnsr Preferred) On September 8, 2018 the Ren Phil will hst a 50th anniversary celebratin gala. The event will incrprate a frmal dinner & presentatin as well as a perfrmance f sme nature. As a fundraising pprtunity fr the seasn, the Ren Phil wrks t keep event csts as lw as pssible. If marketing supprt frm agency selected t wrk n the 50th seasn materials is dne in-kind, the agency wuld be recgnized as a spnsr f the event at a cmparable dllar amunt. Marketing supprt will include an verall design, digital and printed save the date materials, digital and printed invitatins, spnsrship package, advertising supprt, nsite signage and event prgram.
