1 Chapel Audio/Video User Guide 1. How to turn on equipment starts on page How to show a computer presentation on the projector from either the console / stage (Pulpit) starts on page How to play the Blu-ray player on projector start on page How to play the CD music player on speakers starts on page How to play music from a device with a stereo out jack (e.g. IPod, IPhone, MP3) on speakers starts on page How to present using IPhone, IPAD, IPAD2 on projector. starts on page How to use the wireless mics starts on page 16. The soundboard will allow you to blend multiple input sources while using the projector; e.g. a computer could be showing a Powerpoint presentation, CD playing music and presenter speaking to audience through the wireless mics. Equipment manuals are in the cabinet next to the console. Page No. 1
2 How to Turn on Equipment Turn on power strip is in the back of roll top desk switch left side. Info: This brings up the wireless Mic transmitters, video to hdmi converter, 4 x 2 HDMI switch, and video switch for console/stage switch. All switches will light up when on. Soundboard Mixer on/off switches in back of unit (right). Page No. 2

4 Amplifier power button (right) under the CD / XLS 402 Turn on projector with remote you have to walk up to edge of balcony and point the remote at the projector which is mounted to the front of the balcony, press the Page No. 4
5 RED on/off. No need to use anything else on this remote unless you want to use it for a pointer. Page No. 5
6 How to show a computer presentation on the projector from either the console / stage (Pulpit) Press 1 under the letter A on this remote to the 4x2 HDMI switch. Make sure the LED power light is green, if not turn on power strip or on/off switch (left side). Page No. 6
7 Video switch (VGA) toggle button needs to be UP for console or DOWN for the Stage (Pulpit) Plug this video adapter (15 pin) into your Computer. If your presentation has sound, plug in the stereo cable into your computer s headset jack. You will find a video and stereo cable under the Pulpit/lectern stand.. Page No. 7
8 Soundboard slider labeled COMP controls volume for computer for either location (console or stage). You will need to set your computer s screen resolution to 1024 x 768 or the projector will only show a blue screen. This can be accomplished by: 1. Windows XP Choose the following Control Panel, Display, tab Settings and after setting click on Apply. 2. Windows Vista or 7 Choose the following Control Panel, under Appearance and Personalization click on Adjust screen resolution and after setting click on Apply. Press the appropriate keys for your computer to share your screen with projector usually Fn then F8 but it depend on your computer s model. Sorry no picture of your computer you have to know how to do this one. Page No. 8
9 How to play the Blu-ray Player \ DVD Press 3 under the letter A on this remote to the 4x2 HDMI switch. Make sure the LED power light is green, if not turn on power strip or on/off switch (left side). Remote to player This player is easy to use without the remote. Page No. 9

13 How to play music from a device with a stereo out jack Plug this stereo jack into your IPhone, IPOD, or MP3 device. Slider labeled COMP controls volume for player Page No. 13
14 How to present using IPAD, IPAD2 and IPhone Press 4 under the letter A on this remote to the 4x2 HDMI switch. Make sure the LED power light is green, if not turn on power strip or on/off switch (left side). <= This is the cable coming into the switch for any hdmi device (4 th port). It should be lying on the table for your use. Page No. 14
15 Take this loose HDMI and plug (4 th from the right) it into the Digital Apple interface in the photo on the right. Then plug the Apple interface into your Apple device. The IPAD and IPAD2 works pretty good with this device and it includes sound too. The IPhone will only work with Apps designed for digital output, like the video App. Slider labeled DVD controls volume for player. Page No. 15
16 How to Use Wireless Mics All you need to do for mics to work is turn them on/off and/or change the batteries. Batteries are usually on the desk. The on/off is located between the antenna / mic cable plus it is the mute button. Sliders L1, L2, L3 control the volume to wireless mic 10, 11, and 12, respectively. Page No. 16
17 You do not need to touch these transmitters. If your wireless mics are not working make sure the devices are set to the appropriate channel as displayed in the windows. Mic (LAV1) or 10 should be on channel 1, (LAV2) or 11 on channel 7, and (LAV3) or 12 on channel 8. Page No. 17
