1 INQUIRIES FOR ITB/016/2018 SUPPLY, DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION OF ICT EQUIPMENT Question 1 Can we give partial offer or should we offer all items? Answer 1 Companies are strongly encouraged to quote for all the items listed in the tender documents. Question 2 Where is delivery and installation place? Do you want to delivery and installation for one place or more than one place? Answer 2 Desktop Computers, Rack Mounted Servers and Edge Switch will be delivered to Ankara. Printers, scanners and mouse will be delivered to locations across Turkey. Exact delivery locations and quantities will be shared with the winning bidder. Question 3 For edge switch it is written mininimum switching bandwidth shall be 216 Gbps. 212 Gbps can supply similar and enough performance. Can we offer 212 Gbps? Answer 3 Yes, companies may offer 212 Gbps. Question 4 Item #1:Desktop Computer Requirements are compatible old CPU (6th Generation) version. Can we offer 8th generation CPU? Answer 4 In the Technical Specification the minimum requirment is 6th generation Intel i5 for CPU. The bidders are allowed to offer products with higher specifications.

With regards to Prices shall be given including all related costs, i.e. transportation, packaging, installation, loading, unloading, customs, customs duty etc. Question 7 What is the expactation of failure response and repair time in the warranty period? Answer 7 Potential bidders are expected to provide the failure response and repair time in the warranty period.

3 Question 8 Lab results, inspection and testing of goods are requested with the offer on the ITB document. What are the subject of the required tests? Answer 8 This is a standard wording in our tender document, please follow Annex B Technical Offer Form for the required documents to be submitted with the offer. Question 9 Will the offer be based on unit prices? Why is the amount of each item not included in the financal offer form? Answer 9 Yes, the financial offer will be based on unit prices. The quantities indicated in the tender documents are an estimation and may vary. Due to this reason, no quantites has been indicated in the financial offer form. Question 10 The following Sentence is copied from Item 1.2 of the General Conditions Paragraph in Annex-A Technical Specifications Document related to the TURANSUP/ITB/ Tender. Item 1.2: Contractor shall submit a copy of ISO 9001:2008 Quality Assurance Certificate and ISO/IEC Information Security Management System Certificate and/or the equivalent certificate of the Manufacturing Company. - One of the requested criteria is ISO/IEC Information Security Management System Certificate in this item. - The majority of Domestic Manufacturers do not have the ISO/IEC Information Security Management System Certificate related to the ICT Equipment. In accordance with the above consideration, we request the cancellation of the ISO/IEC Information Security Management System Certificate criteria in order to increase competition by increasing participants. Answer 10 No, the requirement is not cancelled but we would like to remind bidders that certificates that are equivalent will also be accepted in order to not limit competition but keep the security standard as per the tender documents.

Answer 12 There are no specific certificates and duration related to Edge Switch at the technical specifications. However if the question refers to software license it shall be ip base. Question 13 About Item 6: Rack Mounted Server, what about the required certificates and duration? Answer 13 There are no specific certificates and duration related to Rack Mounted Server at the technical specifications. However if the question refers to guarantee period, period shall be minimum 3 years.

5 Question 14 About Item 6: 3X 600GB 10K DISK required or 600GB SSD required? Answer 14 3 units of 600 GB SSD and 1 unit 600 GB 10K RPM SAS disc are required. Question 15 We kindly request to change following feature Scan resolution: Item 5.4 (Scanner) as follows "72 to 12OO dpi". Answer 15 Question 16 We kindly request to change following feature Card Scan thickness: Item 5.7 (Scanner) as follows' "up to 1.25 mm and capacity of ADF is 50 pages.
