3 Tender Submission Requirements I. Submission Date and Time: 27 March 2015 (Fri), 10:00am Singapore time II. Submission Venue: Tender Submission Box (Beside Reception Counter) Singapore Management University Level 1, Administration Building 81 Victoria Street Singapore

Notebook ( 3 Mandatory and 1 Optional Categories) A. 3 Mandatory Categories Mainstream Value Ultrabook B. 1 Optional Category 2 in 1 Convertible * with non-capacitive stylus *(refers to laptop with detachable keyboard) Note:- Contractor shall proposes only 1 model for each category.

11 Warranty For Windows-based OS Desktop & Notebook I. The contractor shall provide 3 years local warranty for Desktop PCs. II. The contractor shall provide 3 years local & international warranty for Windows-based OS Notebooks. III. IV. The contractor that is awarded for Windows-based OS Notebooks must provide, at his own costs, 1 service engineer on-site to provide service repairs of the products. The contractor shall indicates the available period of parts and repair services in the tender proposal.

12 Other Requirements (1 of 2) For Windows-based OS Notebooks I. The contractor shall provide VGA Adapter and USB Ethernet Adapter for both Ultrabook and 2 in 1 Convertibles (if it s not built-in) II. The Contractor shall provide a i. Weekly (August) / Monthly (subsequent months) Update on the sales of record to the University and indicate those optional items that are purchased by the faculty, staff and students. ii. Weekly (August) / Monthly (subsequent months) service report to the University.

13 Other Requirement (2 of 2) For Windows-based OS Notebooks III. The Contractor shall assist in DIY Clinic operations ( 4 weeks ) to faculty, staff and students. IV. Wireless a/b/g/n/ac mandatory

14 Warranty For MacBook The contractor shall provides Purchaser with the option of extending the warranty to the third year for MacBook

15 Other Requirements (1 of 2) For MacBook I. The contractor shall provides Purchaser with the option of purchasing USB Ethernet Adapter & External DVD Drive II. The contractor shall provide Mini DisplayPort to VGA Adapter for both MacBook Pro Retina and MacBook Air or Equivalent.

16 Other Requirements (2 of 2) For MacBook III. The Contractor shall provide a i. Weekly (August) / Monthly (subsequent months) Update on the sales of record to the University and indicate those optional items that are purchased by the faculty, staff and students. ii. 17 Tender activities I. Shortlisted vendors will be invited to conduct a compulsory tender presentation on 27 th April 2nd May 2015 II. Loan units of each category for evaluation to be supplied early April 2015 III. Tender of award Early June 2015

18 Clarifications on Tender I. Tender clarifications deadline: 25 March 2015 (Thur), 10:00am Singapore time II. III. IV. Submit clarifications or queries in writing to: Belinda Lim/ Anson Chew / All clarifications or queries with the identities of the Tenderers removed shall be published in the Web site below. The proposal prices will be published on the web. V. The Tenderer is advised to regularly check the above Web site for updates.

19 Computer Loan Scheme (For Undergraduate) The university provides its students with a computer loan scheme for purchasing notebook. Payment for Products purchased by students under the loan scheme shall be made by the University to the Contractor on behalf of such students.

20 Computer Loan Scheme (For Undergraduate) To receive payment, contractor must submit the following documents on weekly basis :- I. *Original letter of approval issued by University with both contractor & student s acknowledgement of goods received in good condition. (*Student to submit to vendor during collection. ) II. III. Original Invoice A consolidate invoice submitted weekly with the following information:- 1) Name 2) Student ID 3) Amount 4) Items description (including any optional items taken up) 5) Total bulk invoice amount 6) Approval application number
