2 We ve made this quick and easy guide to help you get up-and-running with secure, confidential GP video appointments and 24/7 medical advice from your phone or PC. 1 Getting babylon babylon is free to download on both iphone and ndroid devices, as well as on your computer. nd downloading it couldn t be easier. iphone and ndroid phones Just head over to the pple pp store or the Google Play Store (depending on your phone), search for babylon health and look out for our purple heart logo. Then just download the app and it ll appear on your phone. Once downloaded, tap the babylon icon to get started. Computer To use babylon on your computer, simply visit and click Sign up in the top right hand corner to get started. QUICK TIPS - You can update your details when you first log in to your account by clicking Me, then Clinical Records, then the Your Details icon. This will save you time when booking future appointments. - To cancel an appointment in the app, click view on the notification appointment bar on the home screen, then click on the cancel icon.

3 2 Signing up to babylon When you open the app for the first time, you can sign up to babylon with just your address and a new password. Or, if you have a Facebook account, you can use those details instead. Existing users can just log in as usual. Note: Each user needs their own address to sign up to babylon. 2

4 3 Using your membership code When registering, it s important to enter the correct code: HIGHLNDS01 Please follow these steps: If you have a code before signing up Just fill in the requested details to set up your profile, and when babylon asks if you have a code, just enter the following code: HIGHLNDS01 Entering codes after signing up If you have a code, but have already registered with babylon, all you need to do is: Click Me in the menu Click Membership Then Click Membership and enter the following code: HIGHLNDS01 3

5 4 dding family to your account babylon appointments should be booked in the name of the person attending the appointment. So before your family can start using babylon, they ll need to be added to your account. Here s how you do it: To set up a family account, simply follow the steps below. Click Me, then click Family Click dd in top right corner Then enter your family member s details and click done. Note: People aged 16+ will need a separate babylon account. 4

6 5 ooking an appointment C To book a babylon GP appointment, simply click ppointment on the app home screen. C Next, let us know who the consultation is for. If it s for a family member that you ve already added to your account, select them from the drop down list. If they haven t been registered yet, check out Step 4 Then, select the GP option, an appointment time that suits you, and whether you d like a phone or video consultation. Enter any optional notes or photos for your appointment. We ll let you know if the requested appointment time is available. If not, we ll give you a list of alternative times. Note: You can book an appointment from 8am - 8pm, 7 days a week. 5

7 The first time you book an appointment, you ll be asked to enter and confirm the following: Your date of birth Your phone number (in case our clinician needs to call you) C The closest appointment to your preferred time. D Finally, you ll be asked to confirm your appointment details C D Once you ve booked, you ll be sent an and phone notification confirming your appointment details. Whenever you log in to the app, any future appointments will be listed on the home screen. Quick tips - ll the notes from your appointment will also be sent to your NHS Practice. - Make sure you re in a private place and have a strong Wi-Fi signal for your appointment.
