2 what is community connections? Community Connections is a media sponsorship program. It is designed to increase awareness of local not for profit organizations and s through our Community Channel, and other advertising outlets. This is a sponsorship program, so there is absolutely no cost to you. All we ask is that you include us as a Media Sponsor in your relevant promotional materials. why make a connection with us? Where else can you get free advertising on several different local outlets? We already have a large base of viewers who regularly view these outlets. We are committed to making our community channel content rich with all things local, and inevitably having it be a go-to spot for people to see what s going on in COKL.

3 what do you get with connections? 1. Cable Cable Community Channel Ads/Video A large ad and/or video can be placed in this location. They rotate continuously throughout the day. An enhanced community listing including a logo and all details.

We will use your provided rmation and logo in a standard format for this ad. Video Files We support H.264 with the.mp4 or.mov extension SD and HD up to 720p Best: 720x480, 30FPS interlaced or progressive Best: 720x480, 25FPS interlaced or progressive *More rmation regarding video specifications is available by request. The Community Channel is digital channel 10 on Cable Cable s Digital Cable lineup. This channel has become a go-to for residents to see what is going on in the Kawartha Lakes. More content is being added daily, making the channel rapidly more popular.

Channel 28 Ad Specifications File Sizes: Best - Pixels: 640 px wide by 240 pixels px high Good - Centimetres: cm wide by 6.35 cm high Good - Inches: 6.67 wide by 2.5 high Resolution: 72dpi File Format: Best: jpeg, png Good: tiff, eps, pdf This full banner advertisement is valued at $120/ month, and is included within the Community Connections Media Sponsorship program at no cost. Channel 28 is our analogue guide program menu. It is every analogue subscriber s stop when they want to know what s on! These ads have amazing exposure to thousands of local residents. Hint for supplied ads: Less is more! Keep your fonts at a minimum of 12 pt. and use standard fonts such as Arial, Verdana and Times. Get the important rmation in first, and add the secondary rmation if there is room. Try to avoid intensely bright colours, they do not show up well on television. 7 what do you get with connections? 3. Facebook Advertising () The Community Connections Facebook Page is becoming more and more popular as the program takes off! It has become a preferred place for residents to see what is happening in the City of Kawartha Lakes! Supply us with JPEG or PNG images/ flyers etc. and we will post them on the page! Send as many as you would like, as often as you would like and we will keep up to date with your via facebook! * File sizes are not necessarily specific for facebook advertising. JPEG or PNG files work the best, and large files sometimes will not upload! We can also post videos. Send us your marketing materials, and we can help sort out what can be posted.
