8 What is Human-Centered Design A philosophy that all products and services should be designed with people s needs, motivations, and limitations in mind An intentional process in which the needs, motivations, and limitations of the people using a product or service are considered 8

9 Human-Centered Design Process This iterative process is used when implementing Human-Centered Design. 9

10 User Personas User Personas are created to promote empathy for the end user. 10

11 Human-Centered Design Process: Define Information gathered from end users, is utilized to define the design direction. 11

12 Top Tasks Top tasks are a small set of tasks (usually less than 5) that matter most to the people using a system. Helping people successfully complete these key tasks is our most important job. 12

13 Task Context Understanding the task context informs how the system is designed. 13

29 Retrieving Previously Submitted Clinical Data in CROWNWeb

30 CROWNWeb Home Screen After logging in to CROWNWeb, users will click on the Patients tab. 30

31 Searching for a Patient Users will use the Search for Patients screen to enter all available patient information before clicking on the search button at the bottom of the screen. 31

32 Patient Search Results The Patient Search Results screen will show all patients meeting the criteria that was entered. Users will select the correct patient by clicking on their CROWN UPI Hyperlink. 32

33 Patient Attributes The selected patients View Patient Attributes screen will be displayed. Users should then click on the Clinical Data Summary hyperlink from the menu on the left hand side. 33

34 Clinical Data Summary The patients entire submitted clinical summary will be listed. The user may click the hyperlink for the desired month/year to review the information. 34

35 Manage Patient Clinical Values Once a specific month/year is selected, users will see all clinical values submitted for a specific collection type. 35

36 Viewing other Clinical Types Since this patient was on hemodialysis, user can view the lab results for both Collection Types. 36
