3 1.3 Important notes - When you connect SMART KEY cable to computer, please wait for 30 seconds to computer identify COM port. - When you change cable to read different SCU types you have to restart your computer so that the connection is successful - Check that the wire and footprint soldering is correct according to the guide diagram. - Good soldering contact, good connector, not wrong, short-circuit with other points electrical power of computers must be stable, not to let the computer power off, hang up, stop operating or restart during the read is processing. - Do not place SCU on conductors or near spark sparking sources - Turn off all other applications running in parallel on the computer and all antivirus software - Absolutely do not use the mouse, keyboard or other operations with the computer while computer is reading data - If the computer hangs during work, it must wait for more time. INSTALL MOTODATA SOFTWARE - Computer use Windows operating system (do not support for other operating systems) and have USB port - The computer is connected to Internet and installed TeamViewer - Open Teamviewer and send "Your ID" and "Password" to dtdauto@gmail.com Notes: You should choose the PC stability and long-term use because MOTODATA is copyrighted software, installing to other computer will take a lot of time 3

USE MOTODATA SOFTWARE FOR SMART KEY SERVICE PACKAGE 3.1 Instruction for using smart key service package with SMK-LV* cable SMK-LV* cable use for HONDA: LEAD 125 ( ), AIR BLADE 2018, VISION , CLICK 125i 2018, VARIO 125/ Read Key ID and ECM ID Step1: Open MOTODATA software on desktop screen Step 2: Select LOOKUP item at main screen of MOTODATA 4

5 Step 3: Select model of HONDA manufacturer that you want to read Key ID and ECM ID (Follow 1, 2, 3, 4 instructions as below)

7 Step 5: Connect SMK-LV* cable with SCU. Check that the wire and footprint soldering is correct according to the guide diagram. Good soldering contact, good connector, not wrong, short-circuit with other points by welding Step 6: Plug SMK-LV* cable into COM port of computer and then click to CONNECT button to MOTODATA connect to SCU Notes: You set COM port at your computer is COM 9 Step 7: Click to READ KEY ID button to read Key ID and SCU ID directly from MOTODATA 7

9 Step 8: Click to I ACCEPT if you continue read Key ID and ECM ID Please wait about 3 minutes until reading is successful as below: If you want to backup SCU data, you click to Yes and do as the instructions on the screen. 9

10 3.1.2 Rescue SCU data If your SCU software is faulty you can rescue it from saved data or sample data of similar SCU. Step1: You click to RESCUE button to rescue your SCU data: 10

11 Step2: You select SCU data from your saving folder in computer or sample data of similar SCU as below: Then you click to RESCUE button to rescue SCU data. 11

12 3.1.3 Edit data to perform advance function You click to EDIT DATA button to perform advance function for editing SCU data 3.2 Instruction for using smart key service package with SMK-SP* cable SMK-SP* cable used for HONDA: X-ADV, SH 125/150/125D/150D/SM ( ), SH 300i ABS , PCX , SH MODE Read Key ID and ECM ID Step 1: Select model of HONDA manufacturer to read Key ID and ECM ID as item Step 2: Connect SMK-SP* cable with SCU. Check that the wire and footprint soldering is correct according to the guide diagram. Good soldering contact, good connector, not wrong, short-circuit with other points by welding 12

14 Step 3: Plug SMK-SP* cable into COM port of computer and then click to CONNECT button to MOTODATA connect to SCU Notes: You set COM port at your computer is COM 8 Step 4: Click to READ KEY ID to read Key ID and ECM ID 14

15 If the reading is successful the screen display as below: If reading is not successful, you check your connection and do it again. 15

16 3.2.2 Delete Key ID Delete Key ID when SCU is registered full 4 Key IDs or cancel Key ID when lost key to avoid lost vehicle. Step 1: You click DELETE KEY ID button to delete Key ID 16

17 Step 2: You choose Key ID that you want to delete then click to DELETE button 17

18 3.2.3 Backup SCU data Step 1: You click to BACK UP button to backup SCU data to folder at your computer Step 2: You select folder that you want to save your SCU data then click to BACKUP button 18

19 3.2.4 Restore SCU data If you want to restore SCU data from data that you saved at computer then you click to RESTORE button and do as instruction on the screen Edit data to perform advance function You click to EDIT DATA button to perform advance function for editing SCU data Thanks for your reading! 19
