1 Microsoft Surface Pro Configuration The following document will assist with setup of basic application access for the Microsoft Surface Pro. Review the table of contents below for page number for each topic. Access the desktop by clicking on the Desktop app icon. Return to Top of Document 2. Click on the Internet Explorer icon from the quick launch bar.

2 3. Enter into the address bar. 4. Select Downloads from the webpage menu. 5. Select Citrix Receiver from the Popular Downloads area. 6. Follow the on-screen prompts to Run the file and Install.

4 Powerworks Desktop Shortcut 1. Access the desktop by clicking on the Desktop app icon. Return to Top of Document 2. Right click on the Desktop and select New then Shortcut

5 3. In the popup window type, Click Next. 4. Give the shortcut the name Powerworks. Click Finish. 5. Clicking on this icon from the Desktop will take you to the Powerworks login page.

6 Launching Powerworks 1. Access the desktop by clicking on the Desktop app icon. Return to Top of Document 2. Click on the Powerworks desktop icon you have created. The following screen should appear.

7 3. Enter your username and password for Powerworks. Click Logon. 4. If you are presented with the following screen below, click Already Installed (This is a onetime issue to address.) 5. Click on the Powerworks icon and login to Powerworks as normal. Remote Sign On (RSO) Desktop Shortcut 1. Access the desktop by clicking on the Desktop app icon. Return to Top of Document

8 2. Right click on the Desktop and select New then Shortcut 3. In the popup window type Click Next.

9 4. Give the shortcut the name RSO. Click Finish. DEPARTMENT OF CLINCAL QUALITY INFORMATICS 5. Clicking on the new desktop icon will launch RSO. Use your network username and password to gain access. Installing IMPAX Client Return to Top of Document

10 1. Access the desktop by clicking on the Desktop app icon. DEPARTMENT OF CLINCAL QUALITY INFORMATICS 2. Click on the Internet Explorer icon from the quick launch bar. 3. Enter in the address bar. Click on the link to Install IMPAX Client (Note: You ll be prompted during the IMPAX install to download and install Microsoft.NET Framework 4. Choose Run.

11 5. Choose More Info to reveal an option to Run anyway. Click Run anyway. 6. Follow the onscreen prompts to install the.net Framework.

12 7. Once the.net Framework is installed, follow the onscreen prompts to install IMPAX.

13 8. When setting up the application server, type radpacs.palmettohealth.org. Click Next. 9. Choose IMPAX authentication. Click Next, then choose Install on the next screen. 10. Click Finish to complete the installation. Launching IMPAX

14 1. Click the IMPAX icon from the desktop. DEPARTMENT OF CLINCAL QUALITY INFORMATICS 2. Click Options and verify the following information: User ID: {your network ID/Windows} Password: {your network password/windows password} Application Server: radpacs.palmettohealth.org Domain: PalmettoHealth 3. If you get a firewall notification, click Allow access.

15 NOTE: It is discouraged to export IMPAX images to the disk drive due to HIPPA security concerns if the device is lost or stolen. Enabling BitLocker Drive Encryption 1. Access the desktop by clicking on the Desktop app icon. Return to Top of Document 2. Click on the Explorer folder icon from the quick launch bar.

16 3. First, click on Computer. Second, click on the Windows C: drive. Third, Click on the Manage menu. Fourth, click on the small down arrow underneath BitLocker From the drop down menu after selecting the down arrow, choose Turn On BitLocker 5. Select Save to Microsoft Account. 6. Select to Encrypt on the used portion of the drive. Click Next.

17 7. Click Continue. 8. BitLocker will now encrypt the drive. A lock icon should appear over the drive Windows C:. The initial encryption process will take a few minutes but you can continue to use your device while encryption completes in the background.

18 Configuring Microsoft Outlook for Palmetto Health Return to Top of Document Ensure that you have completed the steps to enable BitLocker prior to configuring your Palmetto Health Outlook account. 1. From the Windows Home screen, click on mail. 2. Select Outlook as the mail service to configure. 3. Click on the Option to Show More Details. Complete the following information. Address: {your Palmetto Health address} Server Address: mymail.palmettohealth.org Domain: RMH Username: {your Palmetto Health network/windows ID} Password: {your Palmetto Health network/windows password} Click Connect.

Access the desktop by clicking on the Desktop app icon.

20 2. Right click anywhere on the Desktop. Select Screen resolution from the popup. 3. Uncheck the checkbox for autorotate. Click OK.
