3 System Requirements For the upgrade to be successful, the site (clinic or hospital) must be running on Zedmed Version 26.0 or later. In version 29, when Zedmed is upgraded on the client machines, the user account control (UAC) prompt will be displayed to elevate the user to an administrator, to complete the upgrade successfully. This is required as COM components need to be registered. 3 P a g e

Resolved scanned documents not retaining custom date in Summary View Allow the fundal height to be left blank Resolved invalid token error displayed when merging patients Removed duplicates when searching in Smart Search, for patients that have different file numbers in different branches Corrected grammatical mistakes displayed on error prompt when billing a patient Resolved overlapping text on MIMS icon 18-month transmission of AIR with the Priorix Tetra Vaccine is now displayed as Dose 2 instead of Dose 1 Resolved issue where the Authority check box was not being ticked when it should Resolved List index out bounds (20) when receipting through Eclipse Resolved truncation of instructions in prescriptions 4 P a g e

7 Version 29 Details General This section will contain changes made to both Zedmed Office and Zedmed Clinical. The section is divided into two: Enhancements and Bugs. The former lists all new modifications done to enhance the product s useability, performance and security. The later section specifies all the bugs fixed for the new release. Enhancements Provide the ability to switch off current Rest API used by HotDoc and Jayex Rest API services are turned off by default. The following INI settings in CRS_App_Server.ini will be used to configure if service is on (Yes)/off (No) [OfficeService] RunRestService = No Modify Upgrader to retain NTFS permissions on DB files after an upgrade Preserve security settings on superplus and clinplus databases when upgrading Zedmed. 7 P a g e
8 Zedmed Office This section will contain changes made to Zedmed Office only. The section is divided into three: New Features, Enhancements and Bugs. The former lists all new features added to Zedmed Office. The enhancement section lists all the modifications done to enhance the product s useability, performance and security. The later section specifies all the bugs fixed in Zedmed Office for the new release. New Features The ability to open Clinical directly to the selected patient from the Appointment book and Patient details screen in Office In version 29, users will be able to access Clinical directly from the Appointment book, Waiting Room as well as from the Patient detail screen in Office. From Patient Detail screen, users need to click on Clinical Information to access the patients clinical record. Figure 1: Menu bar item Clinical Information, enable users to access patient's clinical record To access Clinical from the appointment book for a patient, right click on an existing appointment and select Clinical Details. 8 P a g e

10 Enhancements Added new non- AIR coded vaccines Added Trivalent & Quaduvalent as two new non- AIR coded vaccines. This will allow the immunisations to appear in the drop-down menu for selection. However, since these are without AIR Code, they cannot be transmitted to Medicare. New field in Appointment Audit report to display booking wait time Added Booking Wait time to the Appointment Audit report which will display the time difference between the Booking time and the actual appointment time for Booked Appointments. This report will also display the Average waiting time for all booked appointments. Figure 4: Appointment Audit Criteria Screen Figure 5: Appointment Audit Report Bug Fixes 10 P a g e
11 Smart Search, duplicate search results displayed when a patient is registered at multiple branches Issue is fixed to remove duplication in the smart search when searching for a patient that is registered at multiple branches Grammatical mistake on error prompt when billing a patient Fixed the grammatical mistake on error message "Please selected a treating doctor first" to "Please select a treating doctor first" and another error message "Please selected an account payer first" to "Please select an account payer first". List index out bounds (20) when receipting through Eclipse Issue is fixed where on certain conditions when receipting through Eclipse a list index out of bounds error message was displayed to users. 11 P a g e
12 Zedmed Clinical This section will contain changes made to Zedmed Clinical only. The section is divided into three: New Features, Enhancements and Bugs. The former lists all new features added to Zedmed Clinical. The enhancement section lists all the modifications done to enhance the product s useability, performance and security. The later section specifies all the bugs fixed in Zedmed Clinical for the new release. New Features Users can access HTML documents embedded in HL7 results in the Result Inbox Zedmed now supports the presentation of HTML documents that are embedded in HL7 results in the results inbox. When the HTML contains links, clicking on the link will open an external browser. Changes in Pathology and Radiology Referrals to capture the ADHA Withdrawal Consent. The ability for doctors to communicate on a pathology or radiology request generated from Zedmed the instruction that they (as the requestor) or the patient do not want the diagnostic report associated with the request form to be uploaded to the patient s My Health Record. The Australian Digital Health Agency has provided some documentation for further information: Diagnostic sites connected to My Health Record Consumer brochure Printing resources (waiting room poster, brochures) Enhanced user interface for Prescribing Module In version 29, the prescribing module is rebuilt with new interface and some new features. The main changes are: - Generics are grouped and only displayed once with the ability to expand the list to show the branded drugs The yellow MIMS pop-up information is removed, instead a static scrollable box will display MIMS information The ability to create recipe drugs directly from the prescribing screen 12 P a g e

Enhancements Allergy Bulk Editor has a new feature called Reprocess In version 29, users can re-map user defined allergies to coded allergies that have been linked in the past. This is to allow a clinic to update any patients where a doctor after the initial conversion has continued to use the User Defined Allergies. The new column No. indicates the number of patients that are associated with the user defined allergy. For more information on Allergy Bulk Editor refer the User Guide. 13 P a g e
14 Figure 7: Reprocess button With the recent changes, in the Allergies & Adverse reactions screen for a patient, if a user defined allergy is present then the Type will be User, if it is linked with a coded allergy, it is displayed as Medicinal. Figure 8: Allergy type is Medicinal 14 P a g e
15 Figure 9: Allergy type is User Display only the Custom Allergies that have been associated with patients in the Allergy Bulk Editor In the Allergy Bulk Editor, the left-hand side of the screen will display only user defined allergies that have actually been associated to patients and those that are already mapped to coded allergies thus making it easier for users to quickly identify Allergies that need to be mapped or reprocessed. Add new merge fields in document writer Added Organisation (i.e. Practice Name) to Addressee and Full Details Added individual merge fields for current measurements located under new category 'Current Measurements' in Clinical Templates thus enabling users to place individual measurements separately in clinical documents. Added ATSI status under Patient Demographics Added the UR number under Patient Demographics Add new merge field Copy To Doctors section in Clinical Template There are 5 new merge fields added to the Copy To Doctors section in Clinical's letter writer. 16 Name address and esend Full Details Ability to save drug usage along with drug name and dosage into favourite list When saving a favourite from the script screen, the usage is now saved along with the dosage. Updated prescription template to confirm with new prescription stationery This issue is fixed to align all the information in the right place. HL7 2.4 Support Added Support for consuming a HL7 V2.4 Simplified REF-I12 messages and produce HL7 V2.4 RRI messages conformant to the interoperability profile has been added to Clinical. This is to allow providers to receive electronic Hospital Discharge Summaries. Bug Fixes Duplicate dosage details for recipe drugs when re-prescribing and printing In version 29, Dosage details are no longer duplicated on re-prescribe or prescribe regardless of whether the Print recipe on dosage is ticked or not. Scanned document not retaining custom date in Summary View tab The following Tabs in "Summary Views, are modified to display the Document DateTime instead of scanned date time. The sorting will now be based on Document_Datetime Documents Incoming Documents Results Fundal Height cannot be left blank Allowing for the pregnancy Fundal Height to be empty in Antenatal Record screen. Adding one generic drug to favourites adds many The favourites list now only displays the exact generic drug that was favourited, instead of all the drugs of the same base drug. 16 P a g e
17 Invalid Token error is displayed when merging patients The Invalid Token error is displayed when merging patients from two branches where one or both branches have non- alpha numeric character(s) in their clinical code. This issue is fixed in version 29. Overlapping text on MIMs icon The MIMS Logo on the script editing screen is no longer overlapping the name of the drug. 18-month transmission to AIR with the Priorix Tetra Vaccine should be Dose2 instead of Dose1 This issue is fixed to display Dose 2 instead of Dose 1 for Priorix Tetra Vaccine Resolved issue where the Authority check box was not being ticked when it should The Authority check box is now ticked by default if the PBS information contains the word "Authority" Resolved truncation of instructions in prescriptions When configuring a preconfigured instruction for a prescription, the system would truncate the instruction when applied to a prescription. There is a limit of 20 characters on a preconfigured instruction, this constraint has now been applied to the field so the user cannot preconfigure an instruction with more than 20 characters. 17 P a g e
