3 RVG PCI installation Software installation steps : Minimum requirement Insert the Trophy imaging software CD. Follow the instruction to install the software Shut down Windows and switch off the PC Systems : Drivers installation steps : Plug in the PCI card Restart the PC, Windows will detect a PCI Multimedia device Follow the instructions until asked for the installation files Browse to Trophy Windows on the CD, choose the suitable system directory according to operating system Click OK, then follow the instructions untill Finish Restart Windows Drivers update steps : First update the software Go in Device Manager On Sound video and game controller, right click on RVG Click on Properties then Driver tab and click on Update driver Follow the instructions and browse to Trophy Windows and suitable system directory on the CD when asked Restart Windows From Windows 95 To Windows XP Sensors : Rvg 4/5 pci

Follow the instruction to install the software Systems : Drivers installation steps : Plug in the power supply for the RVG usb box Plug the RVG box usb cable into the PC Windows will detect a RVG usb device Follow the instructions until asked for the installation files Browse to Trophy Windows on the CD, choose the suitable system directory according to operating system Click OK, follow the instruction untill Finish Restart Windows Drivers update steps : First update the software Go in Device Manager In Sound video and game controllers, right click on RVG Click on Properties then on Driver tab and on Update driver Follow the instructions and browse to Trophy Windows directory on CD when asked Restart Windows From Windows 98se To Windows XP sp1 Sensors : Rvg 5 usb

Follow the instruction to install the software Choose Kodak 5000/6000 usb sensor to be installed Don t forget to select Patient File if no third party PDBMS Drivers installation steps : Plug in the power supply for the usb 2 hub Plug the usb 2 hub cable into the PC Plug the Kodak 5000/6000 usb cable into the usb 2 hub Windows will detect a Kodak 5000/6000 usb device Follow the instructions Choose automatic installation Drivers update steps : Unplug the usb hub cable or K5000/6000 usb cable from the pc Update the software Do Drivers installation steps Minimum requirement Systems : From Windows 2000 sp3 To Windows XP sp1 Sensors : Kodak 5000/6000

Follow the instruction to install the software Choose Kodak 1000 usb to be installed Don t forget to select Patient File if no third party PDBMS Drivers installation steps : Plug in the power supply for the Docking station Plug the usb cable from the station into the PC Windows will detect a Kodak 1000 usb device Follow the instructions Choose automatic installation Go in Imaging software and do camera setup after F5 Restart Windows Minimum requirement Systems : From Windows 2000 sp3 To Windows XP sp1 Sensors : Kodak 1000 usb Drivers update steps : First update the software Do Drivers installation steps DIRECTX 9b

13 From Trophy Windows to KDIS ALWAYS Uninstall before Upgrading Keep the right CD within reach Practitioner s datas (patients details and radios) will remain untouched Uninstallation steps with Add/Remove (all) : Go in Add/Remove within Control Panel Click on Modify/Remove button of the proper program Follow the instruction to uninstall the software Check if the program is really gone Minimum requirement Systems : From Windows 95 To Windows XP Softwares : Trophy Windows Kodak Dental Imaging Software Uninstallation steps with the CD (KDIS) : Insert the KDIS CD. Choose the Remove option Follow the instruction untill Finish Check in Add/Remove if the program is really gone Software update steps : Do Software and Drivers installation steps

14 From Trophy Windows to KDIS Uninstallation steps with Device Manager (4.x,5.x) : Go in Device Manager On Sound video and game controller, right-click on device Click on Properties then Driver tab and click on Remove driver Uninstallation steps with the CD (KDIS) : Insert the KDIS CD. Choose the Modify option Unselect the device from list

16 Trophy windows & KDIS Trophy Windows image format : 8 bits, TIF image Pxx.tif for panorama Rxx.tif for RVG Sxx.tif for STV Cxx.tif and Sxx.tif for scans and external source Readable by imaging softwares Readable by KDIS Kept in their old format after upgrade KDIS image format (KDIS 6.02 on) : 12 bits, Proprietary format Contains all informations of the patient (name, first name ) Pxx.pano for panorama Hxx.ceph for ceph Rxx.rvg for RVG Sxx.stv for STV Cxx.sc for scans and external source TW free viewer for sharing radiological documents Not readable as is by Trophy Windows (4.x,5.x) Exportable to standard image format (TIF, BMP, JPG, ) through File/Send to/folder but no longer diagnostic image Dicom 3.0 oriented common structure. Trophy Dicom software needed however to ensure portability

18 Trophy Windows (4.x,5.x), KDIS Uninstallation steps : Do a recommended Uninstallation Go in Device Manager On Sound video and game controller Check if the RVG sensor is still there If it is the case, right click on it Click on Properties then Driver tab and click on Remove driver Manual cleaning of the system is needed when the uninstall process have gone wrong or have been badly done Files removal steps : Do Start/Find Find : xray.dll, rcgpci.sys or rvgusb.sys Delete every found file Go in directory INF under Windows or Winnt (to make it visible : Tools\Folder Options\Show hidden) Check every Oemxx.inf files and delete the ones related to RVG along with its Oemxx.pnf file Do Start/Run/regedit Do Edit/find : RVG You should find a RVG sub-directory under a TROPHY directory in HKLM Right-click on it and delete it. Restart the pc and do recommended Installation

21 Install - Uninstall Trophy Windows (4.x, 5.x) : Install the software with CD Plug the device Restart Windows (pci) Install Driver by autodetection on restart Or Within the Device Manager Browse and find the driver on CD KDIS (6.x) : Install the software with CD Select devices within the install process Plug devices Install Driver by autodetection and automatic option Or Restart Windows (pci) Install Driver by autodetection and automatic option on restart Trophy windows uninstall : With Add/Remove Drivers are uninstalled in Device Manager with rightclick and uninstall CD may be needed KDIS uninstall : With Add/Remove Or with CD, remove option during installation process Drivers are uninstalled by unselecting the device during installation process CD is needed
