3 Welcome, Following your registration to one of our training programs, here is some info about the classes and the services available in the proximity of SolidXperts. 5 Date & time of your training: The SOLIDWORKS essentials training is divided in four days and the other classes last from one to three days. The dates will be given to you by your account manager. Fill with your training dates: TRAINING DATES NOTE: Unless otherwise specified, classes start at 8:30 AM and finish at 4:30 PM. Doors open at 8:00 AM. SolidXperts, inc. 6 Being well prepared for the class To ease the training process during the first day, we recommend you go through a couple of SOLIDWORKS tutorials to understand the basics of the software. To access SOLIDWORKS tutorials: 1) Open SOLIDWORKS 2) In the menu bar (File; Edit, etc.) Click on Help, then select SOLIDWORKS tutorials. A new window will appear on the right. 3) We recommend doing the Getting started category first : a. Lesson 1 - Parts b. Lesson 2 - Assemblies c. Lesson 3 - Drawings These three lessons will familiarize you with the basic workings of SOLIDWORKS. **Tutorials are also accessible from the task pane SolidXperts, inc. 7 To access SOLIDWORKS Simulation tutorials: 1) Open SOLIDWORKS 2) Add the SOLIDWORKS Simulation add-in by clicking on the Tools menu and add-ins. 3) Open an existing file or create a new one. 4) In the menu bar (File; Edit, etc.), click on the help menu, then select Simulation, then Simulation online tutorial (see image below). 5) We recommend doing the first for tutorials of the «static» section.
