3 SolidXperts Tab Quick access to the SolidXperts and SolidWorks resources The SolidXperts tab of the SolidWorks Task Pane provides a quick access to several resources offered by SolidXperts and SolidWorks, from the technical support phone number to the SolidWorks forum through an easy way to connect to a GotoMeeting session for direct technical support. - Quick access to SolidXperts resources. - Quick access to SolidWorks resources. - Quick connection to a GotoMeeting session. - A must have tool for all our customers who want to get help and tips on SolidWorks. 4 PrintXperts Batch print your drawings PrintXperts allows printing a series of drawings with an automatic detection of the paper format. It is possible to create the print list from an assembly or bill of material. It is of course possible to manually create the list. - No more need to manually open each drawing to print them. - No more need to browse for each drawing. Select the assembly or bill of material and PrintXperts does the rest. - The tool can print the drawings from WPDM without having you to get them locally. - Print on a printer of plotter without having to first manually edit the printing parameters. - Save the print list for future use. 5 PropXperts Custom properties creation and maintenance This tool allows managing the SolidWorks files custom properties, by the unit or in batch. PropXperts PropertyManager offers an integrated interface in which your fields and default values are planned, including an automatic detection of the current user. 6 PropXperts Batch Process allows creating or modifying properties in batch, including a find and replace feature. It is also possible to rename properties. - Possibility to create the properties for a single document or as a batch process. - Automatic assignment of certain parameters like the user name or date (dates can be formatted your way, not necessarily linked to the control panel). - Selection in a predefined list. - Automatic fusion of certain properties. - Automatic update of certain properties. - Several options are available to facilitate the properties creation. - A must have tool for all our customers who are using properties. 7 CutXperts Batch export of flat patterns to DWG/DXF CutXperts allows generating a series of DWG/DXF files with 1:1 geometry, without notes, dimensions or title block, ready for manufacturing. It is possible to get each machining type on a specific layer, for which the parameters can be managed by the user. A report is shown at the end of the process to indicate the exported files name, quantity and other information. CutXperts will work with sheet metal parts, but also with other parts like furniture panels or metal plates that are not bended. - Possibility to launch the process from an open part or assembly or by selecting independent files. - No drawing required. - Export to specific layers, defined by the user, to help for manufacturing (outside contour, pockets, holes, etc.). - Possibility to filter the parts to be processed (laser, flame, etc.) - Possibility to manage the name of the exported file. - A must have tool for our customers who design sheet metal and furniture parts. 8 EdgeXperts Fast notes and table for furniture edges This tool allows managing the edges of furniture panels. The result consists of notes and a table being added to the drawing to show where to install the edges and the length that is required. - Fast and easy selection of the sides using the assembly. - Automatic insertion of notes in the drawing view, showing the sides where edging is required. - Creation and update of a table listing the required length for each edge type. - A must have tool for all our customers working in the furniture industry. 9 BeamCutXperts Weldment cut list optimization BeamCutXperts allows getting a list of full length beams that are required for building a given project. This tool can read your weldment cut list and assembly bill of material and optimize the required material. - Automatic creating of the optimization based on a weldment cut list or assembly bill of material (Piping route). - Optimization of the data with display of losses. - Possibility to generate the source database by reading your weldment profiles structure. - A must have tool for all our customers who design welded structures or piping routes. 10 MatchPropXperts Propagation of object properties MatchPropXperts allows capturing information from a source object and propagate this information to other objects. A good example of this is copying the precision and tolerances of a dimension to other dimensions. MatchPropXperts allows copying only some of the captured information. - The tool is similar to the Microsoft Word s paint brush. - Capture and copy information from a dimension to another. - Capture and copy information from a document to another. - Capture and copy information from an assembly component to another. - Copy only the information you want to copy. - A must have tool for all our customers who are using SolidWorks. 11 SaveXperts Batch file saving SaveXperts allows saving a series of SolidWorks files to other formats such as DWG, edrawings, PDF, STEP, etc. - Batch saving without having to manually open each file. - Batch saving to native SolidWorks format as well as DWG, PDF, edrawings, STEP, etc. - Export to multiple formats in a single operation. - A must have tool for all our customers who are using SolidWorks. 12 Change Scale Edit the scale of a part or assembly Change Scale allows quickly scale a part, often used on imported or wrongly scaled parts. The tool will change all the dimensions with few mouse clicks. - With few mouse clicks, the tool updates all the dimensions. - Works on native SolidWorks parts as well as imported ones. - Also works on assemblies, scaling all the components and even assembly features. - A must have tool for all our customers who are using SolidWorks. 13 Explode configurations Saves each configuration to independent files This tool allows exploding all the configurations of a file to multiple files with one configuration each. - Allows to quickly generating libraries using the pros of configurations without having their cons. - Ideal for having source files that generate libraries for several projects. - A must have tool for all our customers who are using configurations and design tables. 15 ColorXperts Easy management of parts colors ColorXperts allows managing parts colors. You can use it to replace a color by another or remove all colors. It is also possible to select all the faces that have the same color. - Makes it easier managing colors assigned to a part. - Few clicks required to remove all colors on a part. - A must have tool for all our customers who are using colors in SolidWorks. 16 ReferencesXperts Copy or move your files without hassle ReferencesXperts allow copying or moving files while updating the file references. It is possible to apply rules to edit the name of the files.
