2 WHO ARE WE? Monark AS was established at our current location in 1958, with production of Integral Drill Steel. Monark was a family owned company until 1971 when the company became a part of Boart Longyear. After becoming a part of Boart Longyear the company grew vastly and started exporting integral drill steel all over the world. We were a part of Boart Longyear for 34 years until 2005, when the company was sold. Monark AS is once again a family owned business with high focus on quality and customer service. During the years the product portfolio has increased a lot, and we now produce a lot more then integral drill steel. You will find more information about our products in this catalogue.
