1 SPECIFICATION Underwater Camera Housing. Scope The underwater camera housing and mounting hardware listed in this document and their sub-components are specifically designed to meet the stringent mechanical durability requirements for mounting camera sub systems of the IAEA s digital surveillance systems for underwater applications in nuclear facilities worldwide. All underwater NGSS digital surveillance camera installations are implemented with this type of mounting hardware (housing and mounting bracket). 2. Requirements All camera mounting hardware components shall be manufactured as per the following requirements: - The design specified in the drawing package attached is TUV certified to conform to waterproof standard IP X8 as defined by EN As such, the camera housing and mounting bracket design should be manufactured as specified in the design drawing package and parts list provided. - All camera housing and mounting hardware components shall be manufactured as per the following standards: Waterproof Standard IPX8 as per EN Surface Condition DIN ISO All Stainless steel used in the manufacture of the housing shall be a minimum of.430 (304) grade. - All stainless steel parts should be electro-polished to ISO 5730 standard and at a minimum bear no defects such as pits, roughness, striations, or discoloration examined at a distance of no more than 0.5m with the naked eye. - All materials used in the manufacture of the housing shall correspond to the minimum material specification/grade as specified per the design drawing package and parts list provided. - All dimensions, thread gauges, thickness, and material mass should correspond to those specified in the drawing package. - Refer to appendix for a detailed list of the mechanical drawings and their associated sub-components. 3.
