3 Quick Start Guide Welcome to the TRAVELER SIM community of travellers. This card has been designed to be clear, simple and quick to use. Get connected today and start saving money right away.

4 Before you start Your TRAVELER SIM card is pre-activated. Simply remove your current SIM card from your phone, replace it with your new SIM, switch on your phone and enter the PIN code. It is now ready to use. What is my new SIM card phone number? You will find your new phone number printed on the SIM card. Does the TRAVELER SIM have a PIN lock? Yes, by default it is If you enter your PIN code incorrectly 3 times your SIM card will be blocked and you will be unable to make or receive calls/texts. To get back up and running you will need to enter the PUK code. Your PIN and PUK (Personal Unblocking Key) numbers are both printed on the SIM card.

5 Note: The SIM-cards of TRAVELER SIM need an unlocked mobile phone. An unlocked mobile phone is not tied solely to a particular network or service provider. You can insert any SIM card and be connected to ANY mobile network operator. Our service works with the vast majority of mobile phones but you must make sure that yours is unlocked. How can I be sure my phone will work where I am roaming? Please check to make sure your phone operates on the frequesncies supported in your destination country e.g. United Arab Emirates operates on GSM 900, GSM For 3G UMTS G LTE All my contacts are on my current SIM. How do I transfer them to my new SIM? The easiest way to do this is to go to the address book on your phone and use the function that allows you to copy all the numbers from your current SIM onto your phone.

6 How do I know if my phone is locked? Your phone may be locked if for example you purchased it on contract or through some other offer from your local provider. You can check if your phone is unlocked by inserting another SIM from a different netwrok provider into your phone. If your SIM is locked you will see on of the following messages when you put the SIM into your phone: Insert SIM, Phone restriced, SIM not valid, SIM not accepted or Wrong SIM. Use the roaming service How do I make a call? The TRAVELER SIM uses a process known as transparent Call back. This means our system calls you back once you have dialed the number you wish yo call.

7 Every time you make a call: 1. Dial the number with the international dialing code, even when in the same country. (e.g. to dial the USA number from wherever you are you will need to dial ) 2. Your phone may display a message, ignore it. 3. Your phone will ring within a few seconds. 4. Answer the call and you will be connected. Do I have voic on my TRAVELER SIM? This service is only available upon request. Can I make emergency calls? Yes, wherver you are 112 will work.

8 How do I send a text message? The same way you always do. Just don t forget to enter the number using the internatinal dialing code. Receiving text messages to your newtraveler SIM number is free! How do I surf or send s? As usual, just make sure that data is configured for use properly in your phone. Enter our APN (mobile access point in your handset) as follows: APN: mobinternet.be Username: empty Password: empty APN: mobinternet.be Username: empty Password: empty

9 Selfcare How do I check my balance or add credit to my account? To chceck your balance send BAL to To add credit you need to contact the TRAVELER SIM customer service. Troubleshooting SIM reset and network selection Please check if your network Selection option is set on Automatic when you travel to a new country. If you are experiencing service issues we suggest that you perform a SIM reset and manual network selection. This does not affect your personal phone settings or personal contacts.

10 1. Remove the battery from your phone 2. Reinsert the battery 3. Turn your phone on Manual Network selection In addition to a SIM reset, you can also try to manually select an alternative network. Please refer to your phone instructions for the location of this option.
