1 SETUP TUTORIAL Hi there, thanks for choosing the Smartdolphin Mini Robot IP Camera. This is a step-by-step setup tutorial to guide you through the easy installation process. Just follow the guide and you should be up and running in 3 5 minutes! Before we start: Please download and install the companion NetCam application at or simply by scanning the QR code below. In the following step by step instructions we will take Android app as an example. Android app ios app Connect the Smartdolphin camera to power. Make sure you wait up to 30 seconds until you hear a welcome sound notification. That s it, Now let us start the setup process and welcome the Robot home!

2 STEP 1 Go to your devices Wi-Fi configuration page. From your Wi-Fi network list, click on the robot camera hotspot which starts with "XLT-xxxxxx-xxxxxx" or "HSL-xxxxxx-xxxxxx" (See 1). If you do not see it, please ensure that the cable is well connected. Try to move your phone closer to the camera or reset the camera by pressing and holding he small hole at the back of the robot s head. In the hotspot connection dialog, enter the default password and click Connect. (See 2). Now your camera is paired to your device (See 3).

3 STEP 2 Open the NetCam companion app and click on the Add Device button (See 4). Click on the Search device in Lan button to search for the robot camera (See 5) Select WIFICAM (See 6). You can now manage the camera from your app.

4 STEP 3 Next, we need to make the robot camera accessible from your Wi-Fi. Click on the setting icon on the WIFICAM device (See 7). In the WIFICAM Settings dialog, select Wi-Fi Setting (See 8). Click on Wi-Fi Manager (See 9).

5 STEP 4 Ensure that your Wi-Fi network signal is strong (See 10). Click on your Wi-Fi network, select Wi-Fi Manager, enter your Wi-Fi network password and click Done (See 11, 12, 13). Wait for the camera to connect and come online (See 14).

7 CONGRATULATIONS! The Smartdolphin robot camera is now online and accessible remotely from your phone. The first set up might take some effort, but once set up, the Smartdolphin Mini robot camera offers many functions we re sure you ll find useful, and fun! Thanks for your patience and we always have your back! Keep in mind that if you want to pair the Smartdolphin robot camera to a new Wi-Fi network, you will need to reset the camera by pressing and holding the small hole at the back of the robot s head. This will reset the configuration for the camera and you have to repeat the setup process to pair it to the new Wi-Fi network. Please make sure you wait until you hear the voice confirmation each time you reset or configure the Wi-Fi connection, before proceeding further. The camera might take a few seconds to process your action, please be patient. Please try more times if the camera is unresponsive. Unstable Wi-Fi connection might cause some configuration to be unresponsive. Under such circumstances, please retry the configuration again. Please ensure the USB cable is secured and connected to your robot camera during any configuration process.
