2 Introduction This manual explains how configure and use Advisor Advanced UltraSync secure cloud functionality. UltraSync is a secure cloud solution, connecting alarm devices to remote application via a managed web portal, supported by a service model. The UltraSync connectivity can be enabled in the panel (all ATSx500A variants), Advisor Advanced mobile application (IOS/Android), and the ATS8500 software. One of the following equipment is required for the UltraSync cloud connectivity: ATS7320 GSM module ATS7320-SIM GSM module (see also UltraSync SIM card on page 3) Ethernet connection Path communication to the UltraSync cloud can be single or dual: via the onboard Ethernet connection, and GSM/GPRS communicator (ATS73X0) connected to the panel. The events can be delivered via push notification to the mobile devices of maximum 10 users. Note: A push notifications can only be received if the phone is switched on when the notification is being sent. There is no buffering for notifications. The mobile application must be running for push notifications to be received. Caution: When the panel is registered in the UltraSync cloud, all security cloud reporting is configured remotely from the cloud. In this case, account code settings are disabled in the Advisor Advanced menu. The panel is identified in the UltraSync cloud by its unique serial number. The serial number is shown in the SID number screen described on page 6. It is necessary to set an UltraSync password to be able to connect the panel remotely using Downloader or Mobile Application via UltraSync secure cloud. Service model There are two models of the service provided by UltraSync security cloud: Basic Service model Portal Service model In the Basic Service model, you use the unique serial number in the Mobile Application and Downloader in order to connect in an easy way. This model includes smartphone push messages. The alarm reporting has to be configured by the installer to an OH Receiver using Ethernet or a GSM module for communication. When you use the mobile connection, you need to use your own SIM card. In the Portal Service model, you use all features of the Basic model, and additionally you can gain access to the UltraSync Web portal. This portal allows you to register panels in order to link them to a central station of choice, and run reports or view statistics on all your connected panels. 3 UTC SIM card can be applied for the cellular connection. In order to gain access to the Web portal, you need to request access via the UTC sales office and sign an UltraSync order form. Registering the panel in UltraSync cloud Registering the panel in the UltraSync portal is linked to a monthly service cost. Unregistered panel does not support UltraSync SIM cards. Also, the UltraSync communication path monitoring is not supported. Web portal and diagnostic functions are not available when the panel is connected to the UltraSync cloud using a third-party SIM card. UltraSync SIM card ATS7320-SIM is an ATS7320 GSM module with a preinstalled UltraSync SIM card. This module and its SIM card should be used for UltraSync functionality only when the panel is registered in the UltraSync portal. Registering the panel in the UltraSync portal is linked to a monthly service cost. UTC reserves the right to check if the UTC SIM card is used in the correct modem. Improper use of the modem or SIM card can result in the product to stop operating with the UltraSync infrastructure. Note: UltraSync SIM card does not support SMS and voice reporting. Configuring a control panel from Advisor Advanced Mobile Application See Mobile Application on page 4 for information. Creating a site in Web portal Each panel is represented as a site in Web portal. To add your site in the UltraSync Web portal, do the following: 1. Ensure that your panel is connected to the secure cloud via Ethernet or GPRS. 2. Sign in on Web portal using the URL address and credentials obtained from the manufacturer. 3. On the list of available sites (panels), click New Site. 4. Select your central station (defined by the manufacturer), or choose Self Monitoring. 5. Provide your site name, which identifies your site in Web portal. 6. Enter the site address and contact information, if necessary. 7. Enter your panel serial ID number, which can be found on the package box, or in the SID number screen described on page Select your time zone. 9. Choose a reporting channel (VFNN). 4 10. Enter the account number. Note: Web portal allows only one account number per panel to be defined. 11. Enter the required service grade. Service grade defines security grade and reporting communication path, which can be IP (Ethernet), cellular (GPRS), or dual path (IP primary reporting and cellular backup reporting). 12. Select the reporting format, required by the central station. 13. Click Create. Your site is now created. For its monitoring and control, see the appropriate Web portal manual. Mobile Application Advisor Advanced Mobile application allows you to monitor and control your Advisor Advanced security system via TCP/IP using a smartphone running Android or ios operating system. Note: Your control panel must be connected to the Ethernet or to the Internet (for example, via GPRS connection). The following settings must be also applied if the panel is connected to a home router: Configure port forwarding in your home router Instead of the panel, connect to the router IP address or DNS name Contact your installer to enable the mobile control functionality in your panel, and to obtain all connection details. Connecting to the panel via UltraSync cloud To connect to the panel from the Mobile Application via UltraSync cloud, do the following: 1. Run Advisor Advanced Mobile App. 2. Set UltraSync as the communication channel. 3. Enter your panel serial number in the SID number field. 4. Enter your UltraSync password. 5. Enter your panel name for identification in Mobile Application. 6. Tap Next. Enter your panel PIN and select the PIN prompt mode. Tap Log in, or Setup next panel if required. If the application is run for the first time, the end-user license agreement (EULA) is prompted. Read and accept the agreement to start using the application and connect to the panel. 4 Advisor Advanced UltraSync Reference Manual

Connection For GSM connection, it is necessary to install ATS7320 or ATS7320-SIM GSM module. Refer to ATS7320 GSM Module Installation Sheet for mounting and installation details. If required, enable UltraSync connectivity, and then enter UltraSync password. If UltraSync is enabled, the panel communication will be configured via security cloud. Note: The panel menu does not allow you to add notifications. You can add notifications only using a smartphone application n Select notification 1>Name Notification 1 Select a notification to configure it n.1 Notification name 1 Name >Notification 1< Every push notification can be programmed with a name to identify it. Use the menu to enter or change the push notification name. If the option is enabled, any alarm is sent via push notification to the assigned user.
