1 Reflex 2.0 Frequently Asked Clarifications

2 This document covers various scenarios, where the End user may face issues with Reflex band while connecting with the Reflex app, or may seek clarifications on specific app behaviour during daily usage. Common Bluetooth Pairing issues: Below are the common issues that an user might face while connecting to the mobile phone application: 1) Band Battery has drained completely: a) There are occasions when User may miss the Low Battery notification. b) Once battery has drained completely, it would disconnect band from mobile application. c) Inadvertently, if User is trying to connect the band while battery is completely drained, the band would not be discoverable to pair with Reflex Mobile application. How to Solve: User should recharge the band battery immediately and then start to pair with Phone Application. 2) Reflex Band connected to another Mobile Phone: a) If in case Reflex band is paired with another Mobile phone and is present in Bluetooth range while trying to pair with intended Mobile Phone. In this case, band would not be discoverable and User would not be able to pair with intended Mobile Phone. How to Solve : Band need to be disconnect from that Mobile Phone by turning OFF the Bluetooth. This issue would not occur, if that Mobile Phone is not in Bluetooth range of the Band. 3) Inconsistency with Mobile Phone Bluetooth Connectivity: a) There are cases when Mobile Phone Bluetooth itself can t discover all available devices, despite being with in Bluetooth range. How to Solve: - Turn your phone's Bluetooth OFF and then ON again or Flight Mode. - Once Bluetooth is ON, tap on Scan/Refresh again. Now check if Reflex band is shown in the scan result. - If you still see band is not visible, try restarting your phone and repeat the pairing steps. - Ensure Location is enabled with High Accuracy Mode. (Optional) On most of the phones, you will see below screen for Bluetooth discoverability. Once you see XXXXXXXX, means your band is discoverable by your Mobile Phone.

3 How to use Features of Camera Control and Phone Finder : 1. On the Reflex 2.0 Band, Go to the Steps screen and long press the touch button for 7 seconds to go to the Secondary Menu. 2. The Phone Finder icon will appear on the band display, Tap the touch button to make your phone ring. Tap again to Stop 3. Short Press the touch button for 2 seconds to move to the Camera Control Screen. You will see the Camera icon on the Band Screen. 4. Tap the touch button to launch the camera on your phone. (Note: Your Phone needs to be in unlocked state). Tap again to Click the Picture. Mobile Phone Specific Connectivity & Frequent Disconnection Issues: In Android world there are many Custom/Forked versions on top of AOSP releases, specific to Phone Manufacturers, which restricts Titan Wallet to connect Mobile Phone Application. In some Mobile Phones, once connected there are instances of Mobile Application getting killed when in background, which leads to disconnection from Reflex Band. This section, covers the most popular Mobile Phones which requires specific settings for Reflex application to work seamlessly. 1. Xiaomi Mobile Phones: ( Valid for all Android versions) Popular Models (RedMi 1,2,3, etc.., Redmi Note 1,2,3,etc.) Xiaomi mobile phones have a specific application named as Security. Xiaomi mobiles phone allows application specific settings from Security->Permissions, like Auto Start & Permissions.

4 Autostart: Autostart permission is required for applications that must run in background to update their informations and optionally send you notifications. By default this setting is disabled, User need to explicitly enable it from Security->Permissions-Autostart. Permissions: Need to ensure that below highlighted permissions are enabled for Reflex Band. Battery Management: The battery setting can be accessed through Settings > Battery -> Manage apps battery usage -> Choose Apps -> Reflex (User need to select) -> No restrictions (need to be selected), as highlighted in below screen. Same setting can be change can be achieved this path as well: Security Application Security->Battery->App Battery Saver->Choose the App-> Reflex (User need to select) -> No restrictions (need to be selected). Note: The above settings path can change from Model to Model and based on updates from MI. Lock in RAM: If the User is facing frequent disconnection issue with Reflex. Then, need to ensure that Reflex Application is Locked in RAM. Once Application is Locked in RAM, this ensures

5 that Android does not kill it when running in the background and Reflex band won t get disconnected. How to Lock: 1. Open Reflex Application. 2. Go to Recent Applications Window (on Redmi it is Left Hand Soft Key). 3. Scroll to Reflex Application on front of Screen and PULL Down to get Options Lock Info. 4. Select Lock option. 5. Once selected as Locked, Lock icon would change to Unlock. 2. Oppo : Popular Models (F1, F2, F3, Selfie, etc..) Like Xiaomi mobile phones, Oppo Mobile Phones too have a specific application named as Security. Oppo Mobiles Phone allows application specific settings from Security->Privacy Permissions, like Startup Manager & Privacy Permissions. Need to follow the steps as mentioned above for Xiaomi 3. Vivo : Popular Models: Y series & V series. Like Xiaomi & Oppo mobile phones, Vivo Mobile Phones too have a specific application named as imanager. Vivo Mobiles Phone allows application specific settings from imanager-> App Manager -> Auto Start Manager-> Enable Reflex 4. One Plus : Popular Models: 5, 5T The app might stop sending disconnection alerts, if the app is killed. This can be resolved by changing the Battery optimisation settings as explained above. 5. Android Generic Settings : Provide all the permissions listed to the Reflex Mobile Phone Application to ensure that it functions properly and User does not face any connection or functional issues. The Reflex app requires the following permissions to be enabled to be working seamlessly: Camera, Contacts, Location, Phone Calls, SMS, Storage (Media)

6 The permissions can be set by accessing. Various Android version have different paths, find for Permissions. For example: Settings > Apps >Installed or Downloaded Apps > Permissions.. 6. iphone Specific Settings (applicable to all iphones): If for the User, Reflex is not connecting automatically or manually. Need to ensure that Reflex is unpaired with iphone from iphone Settings->Bluetooth. Look for XXXXXXX and select on (i) and then Forget Device, then reconnect with the Reflex App. Other Reflex Experience Clarifications: 1. Phone Finder not working with ios: In device like iphone, if the App is killed in the background by the ios than the feature like Phone Finder will not work. For phone Finder, the App should be running in the iphone. 2. Not able to receive OTP: 1. If OTP is not received, it may be due to local network or carrier issue, make sure you are in good network conditions and try again. 2. For the User having Jio SIM card in Mobile Phone and is configured as the default SIM card on a non-volte Phone, then User would not be able to receive the OTP SMS. In such case, user will need to enter the OTP manually using some other number. If the Mobile Phone supports VoLTE, then using SMS would be sent via JIO 3. Time Format Setting: When you pair you band to your phone for the first time, your phone's time format will be synced to your band. If you wish to change your band's time format, you need to change your phone's time format.
