Certification classes are offered publicly and privately. Private classes are always a confirmed schedule and location. Public classes are scheduled by demand according to region. As we confirm your registration, we place you into our planned class roster by your preferred region; Metro Denver Broomfield/Boulder/Longmont Loveland/Ft Collins Classes with insufficient enrollment are rescheduled to the next cycle. We usually start classes 3 times a year; January/February May/June September/October We keep you apprised of class status regularly as changes are made. Payment Once we have a minimum to proceed with the class, we will notify you. We request payment to be completed 4 weeks ahead of the class start to allow time to order materials and provide advance assignments for the first class. We accept credit/debit cards or checks or PO s. Terms are Due Upon Receipt. Format Weekday classes are generally 3 hrs one evening per week, typically 5P to 8P for the duration. CPIM = 25 weeks, CSCP and CLTD = 13 weeks. Weekend classes are generally 8 hours on Saturdays allowing for 1 hour for lunch, running 8A-5P. CPIM = 9 weeks, CSCP and CLTD = 5 weeks. What is Included? Course registration includes the courseware APICS Learning System, access to the APICS e-learning back office with lots of practice resources and tests, APICS Dictionary, the primary reference textbook for CPIM, web based learning tool for Supply Chain Management - The Fresh Connection, one Exam Credit Voucher per module, (CPIM has 2) and instructor supplied materials. Membership is required for the certification programs purchased separately from APICS directly. We have been approved as education providers for many years. Individuals must apply to receive grant money. The local WFC, Work Force Center offices in many Colorado cities administers this program for each county. Program Descriptions APICS - Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) This course is to help prepare professionals for the CSCP exam. It is designed as an advanced supply chain management certification for the practitioner working at management level, dealing with global sourcing challenges, international trade, transportation and logistics. CSCP is based on having APICS BOK, Body of Knowledge from CPIM certification. CSCP has a pre-requisite of; CPIM/CFPIM/CIRM/CLTD/CTL/CPSM/SCOR-P/C.P.M./CSM Certification OR Bachelor s degree or international equivalent & 2 years supply chain experience OR Five years supply chain experience Included the CSCP Learning System is the CSCP Exam Content Manual, list of Key Terminology and practice exams as well as supplemental resources. One very important difference for our certification courses is The Fresh Connection, a web-based simulation tool we use to help learners experience the concepts using real examples with zero risk. Candidates must submit their eligibility statement in order to schedule their exam at one of multiple testing centers throughout Colorado. Designed in 2 parts, part 1 is the Basics of Supply Chain Management that runs approximately 30 hours followed by Part 2 going into a wide range of topics in more depth covered in approximately 40 hours. It is designed as the world s leading foundation on supply chain management for the practitioner managing strategies, tactics and operational decisions for a factory. CPIM is based on APICS BOK, Body of Knowledge for CPIM certification with 2 exams. The full CPIM is $4770 and can be purchased in 2 parts.
