19 The Goal To have a better understanding of the personality traits and discover some of the positive and negative impacts of those traits. Additionally, learn what traits your mentors and co-workers have and uncover what makes people work better together and get better feedback.

However, This is not scientific since people do not fit completely into one category or another. That said, it does showcase your thoughts about yourself and how you see yourself. 27 Assumptions I AM OUTGOING - Were we all Extroverts? I NEED TO FIND A MENTOR LIKE ME - Or do opposites attract? WE ARE ALL SMART - We must be all thinkers! Extroverts should be in Sales/Marketing Introverts should be in Engineering Personality Testing is an accurate activity that should be utilized when hiring, assigning projects, etc. Conflicting personality types can t work together.

29 Self Awareness Does my code match my own self-perception? How do you feel the test and your results? Do you have a better understanding of your strengths and weaknesses and how they are intertwined with your personality? To grow as a leader, you need self-awareness, to get self-awareness you need to be able to accept feedback, without self-awareness and feedback, your growth may be limited. Mentors need to trusted, and you need to be open to feedback to make the relationship work! Not all feedback is accurate or even correct, but you should always consider the feedback and learn It s their perspective of you!
