This instructor training program provides a complete overview to design shallow and deep water group exercise programs. You will experience both theory (classroom) and practical (pool) applications to build a well-balanced program. NO experience necessary just a love of the water and fitness. Certification Registration Fee Includes: Comprehensive Manual, 16 hours of lecture & pool time, DVD001- The ART of Exercise Science, Laminated pool cards, Study guide questions and answers, WaterART Certification Exam (theory & practical), Certificate of course completion, 16.0 CEC s for WaterART, AFPA, YMCA, & 8.0 for AEA & ACE. Certification diploma, laminated wallet card and online profile when successful. The theory exam is a take home exam that you have up to four months to complete. The practical exam is onsite assessment or video submission within four months. KIDS WATER FITNESS INSTRUCTOR CERTIFICATION Register Early & SAVE!! May 10 th & 11 th, 2014 (Mon & Tues Only) 5:30pm 9:30pm each night Children are failing at fitness, but WaterART Kidz Fitness will help to get children enjoying the benefits of water exercise. Targeted for children aged 6-12, each lesson plan is 30 minutes in length and may be scheduled once per week for 10 weeks or every day for a 2-week camp program. This is an excellent program to compliment swim lessons. In addition to keeping kids moving, you will provide an excellent entry level program for instructors and keep your parents happy when they see healthy & happy children! SPORTS CONDITIONING SPECIALIST CERTIFICATION August 4 th -8 th 2014 (Mon Thurs) 5:30 9:30pm each night This program uses both shallow and deep-water depths, to blend sports activities and training exercises for performance benefits. This advanced intensity program will apply techniques for programs for circuit and interval training, boot camp, aquatic running, aquatic cycling, advanced buoyancy cuffs, finning as well as other tools that will develop athletic oriented programming. Learn how to work high intensity and utilize the protection and versatility of the water. Water offers many unique core and functional benefits to help most athletes and/or weekend warriors prevent injuries. This session reviews a variety of common athletic injuries as well as looks at general rehabilitation for these common overuse injuries. This program may be mixed and/or matched to help train a variety of sports and is applicable to both group exercise and one-on-one training.
