1 VSI Support Policy and Roadmap VSI provides 5 years of standard support for any VSI OpenVMS version. For instance, VSI introduced V8.4-1H1 in June of 2015 and 5 years from its introduction is June VSI, by default, does not extend the service life of a particular OpenVMS version past 5 years, unless customer demand requires it, since VSI is actively generating new versions for customers to upgrade to. If a customer requires standard support past 5 years, an Extended Engineering Support Contract can be obtained from VSI.

If you buy through VSI Support Services Call logging, problem analysis, review solutions, provide answers VSI In depth analysis, Engineering patches, product qualifications VSI will provide support services for versions 8.4-x To order contact either: info@vmssoftware.com Wayne.beeson@vmssoftware.com
3 *Transparent to customers How do I get Support? If you buy through HPE will provide support services for 8.4-x on HPE Integrity i4 servers for up to five years after the end of sale of the product Customers who purchase support from HPE for versions 8.4-x can use the current HPE support channels VSI will provide Engineering support for 8.4-x. HPE will make fixes available to their supported customers through the normal support channel that you are using today * HPE Support Services Call logging, problem analysis, review solutions, provide answers
