All attendees must register and obtain a badge that allows access to event venues. Venue: Frontier Culture Museum of Virginia (FCMV) entrance gate Meet & Greet, Reception Time: 6:00 pm 9:00 pm 6:00 pm Meet, greet and mingle 6:30 pm Opening prayer, breaking of kola nuts, introductions 7:00 pm Brief remarks by select group representatives 7:30 pm Finger food is served accompanied by African music 8:00 pm A taste of Roasted Yam (Regarded as the king of the crops, this traditional Igbo food is different from American yam) A taste of Palm Wine (traditional wine harvested from palm trees) Music and dance! Dance to sweet Igbo music! Announcements / updates regarding upcoming festival activities 9:00 pm Reception ends.

Video and photo opportunities 5:15pm Seating of dignitaries and recognition of Igbo leaders present. All Igbo leaders - from home and Diaspora are strongly encouraged to attend this gathering.
