Our expertise with translates to a better understanding of customers applications and QoS parameters resulting in higher network performance levels with lower operational risks for our customers. Flexible Networking Options and Lower Operational Cost China Unicom Global s flexible international networking options, simplified client management requirements and fully integrated One-Stop-Shopping service, provide enterprise customers with a scalable network platform with lower operating costs. Abundant Overseas Network and Service Resources Through China Unicom Global s own international network and comprehensive worldwide partnerships, our global service allows customers to gain access to extensive international network infrastructure, in-country facilities and committed services. and support resources. Managed CPE China Unicom Global offers an optional managed router service that includes procurement, configuration, installation, monitoring and ongoing maintenance. Support for Multiple Quality of Service Levels (5) Quality of Service levels offers enterprises customers more flexibility based on specific diversity and application requirements hq-cug-market@chinaunicom.cn
5 QOS QoS (Quality of Service) ensures the network provide the required service performance to the customer. Different applications will have different performance requirements in terms of throughput, latency, jitter and packet loss. QoS is achieved in China Unicom Global network through a number of coordinated techniques and methods enabled in the high-end core routers. Classification Categorize a packet within a specific group to define that packet and make it accessible for QoS handling on the network. Policing Control the maximum rate of traffic sent or received on an interface. Labeling Tag a packet to distinguish the attributes e.g. destination address, application type or service class, if required. Queuing A technique to ensure traffic is handled in order of the priority. Shaping A mechanism to control the volume of traffic being sent into network, and the rate at which the traffic is being sent. China Unicom Global service supports 3 CoS (Class of Services), 5 CoS Transparent CoS: 3 CoS: Platinum, Gold and Silver; 5 CoS: RT-Vo(Voice), RT-Vi(Video), D1(Data 1), D2(Data 2) and D3(Data 3); Transparent CoS: China Unicom Global could provide transparent CoS to our partners, both parties could further discuss to map each other actual NNI Customer traffic is processed within the China Unicom Global network according to the MPLS EXP BIT which its function is to mark the type of CoS handling. MPLS EXP BIT is set at the PE as the IP packet ingress to the two periods. China Unicom Global MPLS code replicated to MPLS EXP Bit for CoS handling. 3 COS Type IPP Ingress Egress Application Platinum 4, 5 EXP=4 LLQ Voice, Video.
