2 DSP500 Alignment Sensors Provide... Exclusive Features 1. High Resolution CCD (Charge-Coupled Device) Measuring System* CCD measures toe, wheelbase and track width with high precision and measures toe-out-on-turns at 20 without electronic turnplates. 2. Rechargable Docking Station* Optional DSP500 cordless sensors can be recharged between jobs while mounted on the aligner cabinet. 3. Digital Signal Processor Digital Signal Processors acquire real-time measurements to provide immediate response between changes in actual measurement and displayed values. 4. Self-Centering Adaptors New Self-Centering Wheel Adaptors cover an extended range, allowing the adaptor to be used for passenger cars or heavy-duty trucks. 3 Additional Time-Saving Features Runout Compensation Each sensor allows for an easy, precise 2-point or 3-point continuous runout compensation procedure. Continuous compensation ensures that the sensor will continue to read accurate alignment angles, even if the wheel rotates. Using DSP500 Sensors, technicians make only one trip around the car to compensate each sensor as it is mounted. Cal-Check Toe Calibration An on-screen display alerts the technician if calibration is required. DSP508 Sensors feature rear toe arms for total around-the-car calibration checking. Continuous checking ensures accurate toe calibration. Level Reminder Standard feature is included on front DSP506 Sensors and all four DSP508 Sensors. An on-screen display indicates if leveling is required. Level Reminder RangeFinder Patented RangeFinder feature calculates track width and wheelbase up to 5334 mm (210 in). Compatible with a Wide-Range of Wheel Adaptors DSP500 Sensors can be used with special adaptors that do not require runout compensation. Fool-Proof Locking Mechanism DSP500 Sensors utilize a band brake to prevent movement after mounting and compensation. Locking knobs are located out of harm s way.

4 DSP500 Cordless Sensors XF Cordless Option Faster Setup Time No cables to connect. Provides Extended Range, High-Speed Communication XF Sensors feature a 2.4 GHz frequency-hopping spread spectrum that supports up to 64 channels, greatly reducing the potential for cross-talk problems. XF radio signals are not dependent on line-of-sight communication between sensors and the console. Capable of Extended Operation Batteries provide a full day of continuous operation. Power levels are displayed on screen. Batteries are user-replaceable and hotswapable. Compensation measurements are not lost when batteries are replaced or if power is lost during operation. +12 VDC lead acid batteries can be purchased at electronic retailers in your market. Docking Station* recharges sensors while they are mounted on the aligner cabinet. Sensors can also be charged by using an optional external charger. DSP500 Sensors can be stored with or without wheel adaptors installed. R811PME Cabinet shown with optional DSP508-XF Sensors and 17" flat panel monitor. DSP500XF Sensors easily fasten to the rechargable Docking Station*. DSP500 Sensors utilize a +12 VDC lead acid battery, similar to the type used in camcorders. DSP500XF Cordless Sensors offer the same high-speed data transference as standard DSP500 Sensors but without the inconvenience of cables.

5 DSP500 Sensor Options Electronic Ride Height Measurement Option Patented Ride Height Measurement System provides ride height measurement and Suspension Body & Diagnostic Audit (SBDA) measurements, which include: Ride Height Body Angle Body Wheel Offset Body Wheel Setback Body Roll Ride Height results are colorcoded. A green bar graph indicates that measurements are within specification. Red bar graphs indicate measurements out of specification. Suspension & Body Dimension Audit Option The patented Suspension & Body Dimension Audit (SBDA) option provides a quick screening to determine if the vehicle is alignable and identifies the potential need for body shop procedures. (Requires Ride Height option and WinAlign 7.1 Software or greater.) Using SBDA, excessive body angle, body wheel offset and body wheel setback can easily be identified. DSP500 Adaptor Options Tire Clamp Adaptor Grips onto tire tread and protects alloy wheel from damage. Ideal for wheels with no rim lip, tires equipped with flange guards or when space between tire and rim is limited. 28" Wheel Adaptor Extensions Extensions increase the Self-Centering Wheel Adaptor s maximum wheel size range from 622 mm (24.5 in). to 711 mm (28 in).
