4 High-Definition Imaging Sensors Speed Service Four stationary cameras (one for each wheel) measure the position and orientation of alignment targets. HawkEye sensors use multidimensional modeling to provide fast, accurate alignment measurements. The operator can use either live plane mode, which uses the targets as a reference plane, or the traditional patented alignment mode, which uses the rack runways as a reference plane. Four high-resolution digital cameras continuously measure wheel target position and orientation. High-Definition Alignment Targets Enhanced for use with high-definition HawkEye sensors, providing a larger horizontal and vertical field of view. Small, light and very easy to handle. 6 HawkEye Sensors Save Bay Space HawkEye high-resolution digital imaging cameras and high-definition wheel targets offer a wide field of view that allows the system to be installed in a shorter bay space and still perform alignments at a comfortable lift height without compromising the cameras ability to monitor the targets. This unique capability, when combined with the features of the Hunter RX scissor lift, further enhances the space-saving efficiency of the entire system. 7 WinAlign Software: Measurement & Adjustment Features ExpressAlign * Procedure Each job is analyzed by the computer and reduced to the minimum steps required to align the vehicle. An analysis can be printed for explaining the needed work to the customer. The ExpressAlign procedure provides direct shortcuts to required steps in the proper sequence. For more information, see Form 4210-T. WinToe * Procedure Eliminates need to readjust toe on one side because of movement on the opposite side. Works with all passenger cars and light trucks on the road today, virtually ensuring a straight steering wheel on the first try. For more information, see Form 3871-T. Shim-Select II* Feature Eliminates guesswork when installing shims; no need to refer to confusing charts or graphs. Quickly calculates and displays all of the information required for proper alignment. Alternative shims can be calculated instantly to help utilize inventory on hand. The Shim-Select II feature now includes a choice of nine shim brands. Over twenty-five percent of vehicles require rear shims for camber/toe adjustment. For more information, see Form 3927-T. CAMM * Feature (Control Arm Movement Monitor) Cuts adjustment time in half on vehicles with front shim, dual cam or dual slot adjustments (over 30% of vehicles on the road today). The CAMM feature instructs the technician in what direction and how much to move the front cam or slot, then how much to move the rear. 8 WinAlign Software: Measurement & Adjustment Features Automatic Bushing Calculator * Feature (ABC) Bushings adjustment display shows required bushing and position to make desired change in caster and camber on twin I-beam and other trucks. Cuts adjustment time in half for 20% of light trucks and vans on the road. For more information, see Form 4249-T. Faster Caster * Feature Reduces the number of steps needed to perform a caster sweep and obtain measurements for caster, S.A.I. and I.A. The Faster Caster feature uses only one quick steer to the left and one quick steer to the right to measure the angles for the left and right turning sequence. This allows for a faster more efficient caster sweep. Wheel-Off Adjustment Allows adjustments with the wheel removed, speeding the alignment process. Symmetry Angle Measurements Instantly access symmetry angles and setback for additional diagnostic information. Provides a quick check to determine if out-of-specification alignment readings are affected by symmetry angles or setback. Indicates conditions that may be the result of collision or frame repair. Widescreen WinAlign Software WinAlign software supports the HDTV (16:9) wide aspect ratio utilizing a new control bar on the left of the screen. 10 WinAlign Software: Measurement & Adjustment Features Live Ride Height Using the Live Ride Height feature, the technician simply installs the ride height targets onto the fender wells of the vehicle. The value is instantly transmitted to the aligner console and displayed on the monitor. Ride height adjustments are tracked continuously as they are being made. Wireless Hand-Held Ride Height Remote The optional Wireless Hand-Held Ride Height Remote measures ride height and then transmits the measurements to the aligner. Kit number Cradle Inspection Illustrations and digital photos provide a quick guide for inspection and correction of cradle-to-body alignment based on factory recommended procedures. Point & Click* Inspection Photos Combines vehicle-specific inspection list and digital inspection photos or three-dimensional illustrations on the same screen. 11 Measurement & Inspection Features Live Action Inspection Videos Suspension component inspection procedures can be accessed instantly from the WinAlign software inspection screen. Inspection Printouts Printouts may be used to explain needed parts and repairs, including use of aftermarket kits. Printout combines a vehicle-specific digital photo with an inspection list. Hunter WinAlign Tuner software, hardware and procedures enable your shop to align altered ride height or tuner vehicles and increase your shop s profitability. Bump Steer Measurement With Live Ride Height Camber, toe, total toe and steer ahead are measured and may be recorded as the vehicle is raised and lowered. The results are charted on-screen to allow the technician to see the change in values through a range of heights and compare values before and after modification. Enhanced Printout Enhanced printout includes bump steer charts for each front wheel, as well as tire temperature and alignment readings for each tire. Training & Online Features AlignGuide Training Feature** AlignGuide is an information center that contains training videos and information on using WinAlign software, wheel sensor operations, vehicle operations, vehicle troubleshooting, and alignment adjustment methods. 14 Fully Integrated Alignment Save Steps While Doing a Better Job Fully Integrated Alignment represents an unprecedented standard of communication between aligner and lift rack that results in less service time and a more comprehensive alignment. WA Alignment Consoles and WinAlign Software Centralizes control into one interface. WinAlign software allows the console to communicate directly with the lift to automatically control turnplate and slipplate operation through the PowerSlide feature and set tire pressure for all four tires simultaneously through Inflation Station. 14

15 The new PowerSlide feature automatically locks and unlocks the front turnplates and rear slipplates. The technician no longer has to make laps around the lift and spend time struggling with lock pins. When connected to an FIA-compatible alignment console, slipplates and turnplates lock and unlock automatically at the correct times during the alignment process. Eliminates damage to turnplates and slipplates caused by technicians forgetting to re-lock plates at the end of an alignment. RX Scissor Lift Console PowerSlide system controls are also conveniently located on the lift console. One touch locks or unlocks the slipplates and optional turnplates. Automatically locks plates when lowered. An indicator light shows if plates are locked or unlocked. The Inflation Station feature automatically inflates all four tires to the pre-selected pressure simultaneously, while the technician raises the lift or does other tasks. Inflation Station records starting pressure and final pressure which can be printed out as part of the final alignment printout. 15

18 HawkEye Sensor Configurations The fixed-column standard configuration HS401FC fits most service bay applications.* HS401LC provides a vertical camera lift to achieve additional lift height or to work with the vehicle lowered to the floor.* The HS401WM can be mounted to the wall or ceiling.
