8 SERCOS III IO Profile (2) 32 Bit IDNs The IDNs expanded to 32 bit are divided into three parts: The function group represents a traditional 16 bit IDN. The structure instance (SI) identifies the slot. The structure element (SE) is responsible for subaddressing the various properties of the module.
