3 Unpack the Product 1. Product Packaging Carton 2. Accessory Box 1. Cut open the top side of the carton Remove the accessory box from the carton. 2 Dispose the Silica gel sachet. 3

5 Disassembly 1. Unscrew the captive screw holding the Stand Side VESA dock. 2. Slide and remove the Stand Side VESA dock. 3. Reverse the thin client to remove the Monitor Side VESA dock. 5

6 1. Unscrew the captive screw holding the Monitor Side VESA dock. 2. Slide and remove the Monitor Side VESA dock. Note: Do not remove the Monitor Side VESA dock if you do not intend to mount the client on a wall stand. Refer to the next slide for more information. 6

8 Method 1: Hanging on the Wall / Fixing on the Wall 1. Drill 4 holes as per the center to center dimensions and details given below. 100mm 100mm 100mm Hanging on the wall Fixing on the Wall Hole Diameter: 5 mm. Hole Depth: 35 mm. Insert wall Inserts into drilled holes. 8

9 2. Fix the M4 screws to the wall as shown in the following image. Wall M4x35 Screw Wall Insert 2 to 3mm 9

10 Hanging on the Wall Using M4x35 wood screws, hang the Stand Side VESA dock on the wall as shown in the following figure. 10

13 1. Slide and fix the client to the Stand Side VESA dock as shown in the following figure. 2. Tighten the captive screw to fit the client in place. 13

15 Method 2: Mounting on a Wall Stand Preparing the Monitor 1. Using M4 screw, fix the Monitor Side VESA dock behind the monitor. 15

17 Preparing the Wall Stand 2. Fix the Stand Side VESA Dock using the M4 screws as show in the following image. Note: Ensure that the Sliding guide is at the top. 17

19 1. Slide and fix the client to the Stand Side VESA dock as shown in the following figure. 2. Tighten the captive screw to fit the client in place. 19

20 3. Slide the Monitor assembly into the VESA Dock on the Thin Client and fasten using the Captive Screw. 20

22 Instructions to Connect Dual Monitors To connect two analog (VGA) monitors: DVI-I to VGA + DVI "Splitter cable" (Supplied along with Md75) 22

23 To connect one analog (VGA) monitor and one digital (DVI) monitor: DVI-I to VGA + DVI "Splitter cable" (Supplied along with Md75) 23

28 Replacing the Power Adapter 1. Unplug the power cord and power adapter cable. 2. Unscrew the power adapter cradle thumb screw. 3. Remove the power adapter from the cradle. 4. Place the new power adapter into the cradle with proper cable routing using the cable tie as shown below Connect the power adapter cable and the power cord. 1 28

29 IMPORTANT Installation in any orientation other than recommended will VOID warranty. Improper installation will cause the internal temperature of the unit to increase by 20 0 C C. This will lead to extremely high product failure rates and working life may be reduced by as much as 50-75%. 29

30 Best Practices 1. Do not expose the Itona to acidic environments. 2. Avoid installation in areas where oil can splash onto the Itona. 3. Avoid installing the Itona above any heat source (e.g. Fryer, Toaster, or HLZ). 4. The Itona must be installed in recommended orientation as shown in earlier slides. Tilt can be up to maximum of 30ºC to vertical. 5. Ambient air temperature around the Itona should not exceed 40ºC. 6. Relative Humidity of air around the Itona should not exceed 80% non-condensing. 7. Adequate ventilation must be provided for convection heat transfer to be effective. ALWAYS keep at least 4 clear space at the top, bottom, and rear of the Itona. 8. Avoid running cables to and from the Itona and above or near heat sources as the heat can be transmitted to the terminal through the cables. 9. Ensure proper Common Earth Grounding of the Itona and all devices attached to it. 10. Ensure sufficient Power Surge Protection is used for the Itona and all devices attached to it. 30
