2 Mission and Objectives Mission Providing services with high standards of differentiation, applied to Protection, Automation and Control (PAC) systems for VHV, HV and MV electrical network. Goal To become recognized as a world reference for services associated with PAC.

3 Qualifications Experience since 1997 in Protections Automation and Control (PAC) for Generation, Transmission and Distribution energy networks; Training from the different manufacturers and participation in seminars; Official Recognition by portuguese transmission utility as Protection Technical Manager for substations up to 400 kv.

4 Experience Knowledge on equipment's from several manufacturers, such as: Architectural design of substation automation, combining different equipment's from several manufacturers; Knowledge on communication standards, SPABUS, IEC /103/104, DNP3.0 and IEC 61850, for substation automation system; Electrical protection coordination studies for Cogenerations (CHP), Industrial Facilities, Subways and Wind Farms.

10 Developed Works Protection Coordination studies for: Wind Farms: Alto da Coutada, Alto Douro, Beiras, Terra Fria, Vila Nova II; industrial facilities: Soporcel; Refinery of Petrogal - Sines (150 kv substation expansion and new 60 kv substation). Cogeneration: 150 kv Substation and Cogeneration plant - Petrogal (Sines); 60 kv Substation and Cogeneration plant - Petrogal (Porto). Short circuit current calculation (with Etap 7.0) to design the neutral reactance (for new hydro-plant Venda Nova III). As-built engineering documentation Several end to end tests and protection re-configuration at REN substation, at different voltage levels (adaptive maintenance) Local and remote Technical support (and training) for commissioning 2 x 132 kv lines in Valcea, Romania

Siemens protections and EFACEC scada Project support, engineering documentation, configuration and for new Alqueva Hydro-Plant 400 kv protection system (line and busbar protection) Busbar diffential and circuit breaker failure protection for 60 kv level at Rio Maior substation (REN) with Siemens 7SS52x solution; Configuration, test and commissioning for teleprotection scheme for EDP mesh network on distribution networks Turn key solution for existing bay retrofit to include differential line protection for 220 kv lines with Siemens 7SD523 solution (including electrical drawings, mounting, configuration, documentation and tests)
