4 RESOLVD objective Improve efficiency and the hosting capacity of distribution networks in a context of highly distributed renewable generation by introducing energy flexibility and control by acting on the grid through innovative advanced power electronics devices, with certain storage management capabilities, in low voltage distribution grids 4

13 Initial assessment Power electronic device with storage management is attractive for various lowvoltage grid users along with DSO Other most eminent stakeholders: energy communities owning storage of various types, neighborhood/block managers, industrial facilities, commercial buildings of larger-scale Use-cases indicate a profitable business environment for the RESOLVD solutions. Customizations are needed Value propositions assessed so far indicate attractive opportunities for distributed energy storage 13
