Our History PMC Africa was formed in 1994 and has over the years grown to become one of Zimbabwe's leading network solutions providers. We have been instrumental in the adoption of new technologies by the Zimbabwean and regional markets. Throughout the years, we have expanded beyond Zimbabwe, carrying out installations in Malawi, Mozambique and Zambia. In addition to our corporate projects, we also focus on multi-site roll-out networking projects which we have now become a market leader.

3 Our approach to solutions We take a broad view of the total solution required by you our clients, and from your overall project and business objectives, we develop products and services that are tailored and add value to your business. We thus continue investing in our product and service portfolio, develop new products and services and improve existing ones. Business Areas We focus on two main business areas; > Branch Solutions (these being multi-site roll-out projects) and; > Corporate Solutions (these being once-off building or campus projects). We link your business multiple sites into one connected network. We integrate the different systems in your different business areas into a network that is open and interoperable. We believe that systems are incomplete without humans who can effectively manage them. Therefore, training is a huge part of the solutions we provide to you. We do all this so that your return on investment is positive. We also carry out systems auditing and give you feedback on whether the network infrastructure you have in your business is performing optimally to help you make money and cut costs; for VSAT systems, we go a step further by monitoring performance in real time on your behalf, so that you can focus on your core business. Once your network is in place, we provide maintenance and support through to full facilities management; these are areas were we have developed competency for over two decades so we guarantee you that we can deliver.

4 Products and Services Structured Cabling We specialise in complete structured cabling systems and associated hardware to telecommunications infrastructure that can be used for varied applications e.g telephone service, data transmission. These systems are NOT being proprietary or device dependent. When installing the cabling, we consider current configuration on already installed system (upgrades and retrofits), the architectural structure of the building, the cable and connection products required, the function of the cabling installation, the types of equipment the cabling installation will support, present and future network needs, specific customer requirements and the manufacturer warranties. All our installations conform to ANSI and TIA/EIA international standards. We are a certified MOLEX Registered Installer and Business Partner which means we can offer a 20 year MOLEX System Guarantee on all installed systems, as well as a lifetime warranty for MOLEX products used in that system. We also provide Krone, Trendnet and Kuwes cabling products according to customer preferences, all covered by the manufacturer s warranties and performance guarantees. LAN and WAN Hardware We are a Registered Reseller for a wide range of leading brand products which include Cisco, HP Procurve, 3Com and Trendnet switches and routers, Motorola and Datum Systems. We offer manufacturer warranties on all equipment supplied, and ensure that we meet any IT requirements. Our range of products include Alvarion, Breeze Access, Netkrom, Ubiquity and TP-Link.

5 Products and Services (*continued) Server, Computer & Peripherals Sales We are agents for leading hardware manufacturers and are able to supply, install and repair most hardware, including PCs and servers by Acer, APC, Canon, Dell, Epson, HP and other brands. Through distributors in South Africa and the UK, we offer all warranties on products by the manufacturer listed above. Through our agency arrangements, we are registered to sell the full range of software applications most commonly used today in office environments. These include the Microsoft Suite of products, Linux Mail and Server software, anti-virus software and most other open systems software applications and consumables. Our technicians can repair servers, desktop PC s, laptops, printers, scanners, UPS systems and other peripheral devices. LANs and WANs are vital to business success, so too is the need to interconnect networks locally or remotely. That provision of total solutions is what sets PM Communications apart.

6 Products and Services (*continued) VSAT and Wireless Solutions Most business locations are remote but businesses still demand high speed broadband services in those areas. PM Communications thus established a separate business entity trading under the name Broadsat (Pvt) Ltd, which is also licenced by POTRAZ, to provide VSAT services for remote business sites. NOTE: All VSAT sites are registered with the authorities, and that all matters concerning licensing and contractual obligations with upstream providers are met. We deliver this service to you as an ISP with strategic partnerships with local and foreign partners in the VSAT and wireless industry. Our upstream providers include SatSpace, Avanti, Bentley Walker and Sky Vision. Through these partners, we are able to provide internet services, point to point connectivity, VPN s, hotspot and internet café solutions and and web hosting facilities. Broadsat manages all of PMC s Africa satellite related issues which include; Accounts, invoicing, licensing fees, stock control and customer queries. Broadsat therefore compliments PMC Africa s core networking business. Our satellite technology is particularly attractive to farms, mines, multi-branch retailers, banks and MFIs, NGO s and international organisations with foreign offices. Video conferencing facilities using dedicated data tunnels is one of the most used application. Our range of products include Alvarion, Breeze Access, Netkrom, Ubiquity, TP-Link, idirect, Hughes, Datum Systems, Comtech and Prodelin. Our satellite internet solutions provide fast reliable internet AND voice and connectivity directly into teleports in Europe. We provide this service on Ka Band, Ku Band, C Band and SCPC platforms using some of the brands mentioned above.

7 Products and Services (*continued) Fibre We install fibre cables to permit transmission over long distances within large buildings and at large expansive business premises. In the age of big data in almost all business processes, fibre permits the transfer of more data than standard data and electrical cables. Information shared via fibre is more secure than that which is shared via copper cables (which can be tapped with very little chance of detection). We have 2 decades of expertise in installing fibre cabling in high voltage environments thereby avoiding electromagnetic interference in data transmission. We repair damaged fibre connections and advise you to replace where need be; with us, you will NOT experience outages because our technicians are trained to carry out effective fibre splicing. Radio masts and towers We have the capacity and track record of designing and constructing masts and towers for radio antennas for telecommunications and broadcasting. Applications for this type of technology is in mines, large agricultural estates and NGO s which work in rural and isolated locations. Arundel School
