Interoperable devices, applications and services by promoting open industry specifications. Smart metering standardization (CLC/prTS x SMITP) Support of COSEM object model in progress Meters and More, formed by 33 first-level companies, allows to manage the open protocol and guarantee metering devices interoperability. 6

12 Conclusions Endesa is currently rolling out 13 million smart meters. Over 2,8 million meters have been replaced already. Fully integrated end-to-end operation from day one (2010) The technology performs excellently also in mass operation. Very good acceptance by customers Value-added applications and smart-grids are already in operation (at pilot scale). 12
