3 KEY PERSONNEL DATO Ir.Dr. ALI ASKAR,B.S.E.E.(PURDUE), MEngSc, PhD Ir. Dr. Ali Askar has more than 30 years of network planning and operations experience with Malaysian power utility (TNB), including lecturing on power systems and renewable energy at Uniten. Dato Ali Askar has also helped draft the RE subsidiary laws and set up the Sustainable Energy Development Authority (SEDA) Malaysia, proudly going on to become its first Chief Operating Officer till end March Ir.K.YOGAN,B.E.(US), M.E, P.Eng, MIEM, ACPE Ir.Yogan has 30 years of experience in Malaysian power utility company. He had served from generation division to consumer service departments. He had also received many recognitions for his skills in operating asset management and maintenance department. Ir.Yogan travels nationwide to provide talks on health and safety, electrical equipment maintenance and asset management. Kumpulan Mercu is proud that he is leading our technical division. MATHANRAJ.G,B.E.P.E.(HONS.), REEM Mr.G.MathanRaj is the founder of Kumpulan Mercu and had graduated with Bachelor of Electrical Power (Hons.) from Universiti Tenaga Nasional. He has 10 years of consulting experience and actively contributing into various green initiatives around Malaysia. He is also a Registered Electrical Energy Manager with Energy Commission of Malaysia. He was very involved with sports since young days and has represented Kedah Under 21 hockey team from 2002 to Now he enjoys playing golf with his partners. Ir. Ong Boo Soon,B.E.(CIVIL),P.Eng, MIEM Ir.Ong has been an instrumental advisor to Kumpulan Mercu. Graduating with Bachelor of Civil Engineering from National University of Singapore and along 29 years of substantial experience in Consulting field, he is leading the Civil and Structure Department. Ir.Ong is also a registered member of Suruhanjaya Perkhidmatan Air Negara. He has a great interest for travelling around the globe and instills vast engineering values in his designs. 3
