23 BICSI Standards ANSI/BICSI , Data Center Design and Implementation Best Practices ANSI/BICSI 002 provides a best practices and implementation standard that will complement TIA,CENELEC, and ISO/IEC data center standards. It is primarily a design standard, with installation requirements and guidelines primarily related to implementing a design. today s data center designer is required to have knowledge of mechanical, electrical and telecommunications systems and how they interact areas not typically found in the same reference manual or standard. As data centers continue to evolve, so too will this standard. Already in discussion are the expanding of facility availability and international information, and the addition of "green" technology and data center efficiency beyond PUE/DCiE.
