14 Deteriorated Facility Condition is MIT LL Greatest Risk Many buildings 60+ years old, 61% in below average and poor condition 7 years of Govt and 3 rd reports confirm assessments Not structurally designed for modern research (inadequate dimensions for tooling, poor vibration isolation) Re-purposing for program priority has led to co-mingled office space and high-hazard Lab spaces Facilities Modernization Project - 14
