For installations where power consumption in the rack space is greater than 1.5kW, we recommend installing one of the Active Network Rack options. The 800mm wide Standard Network Rack provides the ideal cabling solution rack with its additional capability to manage volume cabling outside of the 19-inch envelope. A range of standard cabling accessories are provided to complement the rack, providing solutions to manage incoming services from either underfloor or overhead. The Standard Network Rack is compatible with a wide range of Cooper B-Line s rack accessories, including shelves and cable management items, as well as a comprehensive range of power distribution units (PDUs). 7 Active Network Rack Standard Features Front and rear doors on the active racks incorporate industry leading 80% free area perforations for maximum air flow to aid system cooling. 600mm active racks have single piece vented doors front and rear whilst the 800mm wide active racks have single doors at the front and double doors at the rear Options with or without side panels Two pairs of 19 mounting rails Fitted with jacking feet (castors optional extra) Rated at 800kg static load and 225kg dynamic load (assumes load is equally distributed) The Active Network Rack option provides the ideal platform solution for housing most server and switch equipment configurations where the power consumption in the rack is up to 5kW. For installations where power consumption in the rack space is greater than 5kW, please contact one of our application specialists who will be able to work with you to recommend the best option for your application. We would always recommend the use of 800mm wide racks in instances where the equipment cooling strategy is two directional as employed in some switch designs where cooling paths are front to rear as well as side to side. The Active Network Rack is compatible with a wide range of Cooper B-Line s standard rack accessories including shelves and cable management items, as well as a comprehensive range of power distribution units (PDUs).
