2 In the Event of an Emergency In the event of an emergency REMAIN IN PLACE unless there is an immediate danger. Listen to audible messages for further instructions. In case of evacuation, proceed to nearest stairwell and exit on ground level. Gathering Location: Diplomat Landing directly across from hotel. Hotel is fully equipped with an automated Fire System, which include sprinkler and smoke evac. To call the emergency line: Pick up any guest phone or house phone and dial to be connected to the 24 hour security dispatch emergency line, or dial 911 Security, Engineering and the Fire Department are automatically notified and will respond to the main fire control panel and to the location of the alarm. Update messages will be played via the Public Address (PA) System. In the hotel, the alarm will sound two floors above and two floors below the location of the alarm. The Convention Center is a full alert alarm. The Fire Department, Paramedics and Police have a normal response time of 5-10 minutes. The nearest hospital is 3 miles from the hotel. 2
