27 Traditional ITS Tradition ITS Services Scope Dynamic Message Signs maintain and manage 26 Skyline DMS. Video Surveillance maintain and manage 1,825 CCTV cameras. Current projects will add 400 additional cameras. RWIS maintain and manage 8 Vaisala RWIS Wavetronix maintain 12 Wavetronix, installing an additional 12. Future plans to install sensors at 50% of CCTV towers system wide.

28 Dedicated Fiber Network Fiber Maintenance Program Services Scope Emergency Repairs: Selected contractor provides 24/7/365 on-call emergency repair services. Service agreement provides for 2 hour response time and 4 hour mobilization for emergency repairs. NTTA staff actively supervise all emergency repairs Non-emergency repairs and support: Contract provides normal non-emergency repair services. Additional services provide small project services for minor fiber optic cable installations and upgrades.

35 Maintenance Procurement and Planning Impacts to Scheduling Procurement types have an impact on scheduling RFQ, qualifications based can have lead times of 7 to 9 months. RFB, formal bidding can have lead times up to 6 months for delivery of equipment. Projects using informal procurement are the most advantageous for schedule. Budgeting for planned maintenance projects has a significant impact to schedule. Projects requiring Board approval have two to three months additional schedule time.
