3 Compatibility Notes & Issues Microsoft Windows Operating System This version of SIDON is compatible with Windows XP Professional SP3 or later. Sundance Automation This version of SIDON is compatible with Titan or FastBreak NXT version or later. ListProcessor This version of SIDON is compatible with ListProcessor version 1.20N3 or later. Media Prep This version of SIDON is compatible with Media Prep version or later. SeaChange MediaClient 6004 This version of SIDON is compatible with SeaChange MediaClient MCL6004 hardware package and SW 202 software. Omneon This version of SIDON is compatible with Omneon firmware version Grass Valley K2 This version of SIDON is compatible with Grass Valley K2 version Leitch Nexio 3601 HDI This version of SIDON is compatible with Leitch Nexio 3601HDI version Specifications No previously undocumented hardware specifications for this version. Installation Issues No previously undocumented installation issues in this version. For details in installing, see the SIDON installation guide. Upgrade Issues Updating To update to this version of SIDON: 1. Copy the new executable to the SIDON folder. 2. Replace current SIDON desktop short cut with one to version 2.01T9. 3

4 New Features in Release 2.01T9 There are no new features added to this release. Hardware and Software Changes The following changes were made to SIDON version 2.01T9. Ensemble This version of SIDON supports the Ensemble Designs Avenue Keyer CG. Audio Shuffle This version of SIDON supports the Audio Shuffle feature. EasyText This version of SIDON supports EasyText for Miranda. SIDON can now use UpdateText for EasyText with IntuitionXG or Presmaster. FlexiCart This version no longer uses extended status polling for Flexicart VTRs. Intuition Keyer In earlier versions, the Up/Down command for Intuition Keyer was missing a space. PixelPower Clarity CG Driver This version includes the commands SelectPage, TransferPage, StopPage, SetDSK, CreatePageFromTemplate, UpdateField, TriggerAnimation for the Clarity CG driver. Symphony When using a Symphony, if SIDON gets a CLEARCG command without a filename, it clears all the graphics on that channel. Wasp CG Server This version of SIDON includes the Symphony protocol for Wasp CG Server. XChannel The IntuitionXG driver for XChannel is implemented in this version of SIDON. Types SIDON has new Type options for Symphony, IntuitionXG, and ChannelBox. 4
