5 4 Boomtown Bots Continued Boomtown has created Poynt Bots that live in Relay Chat Rooms Available for your staff. These bots are now available in the Connect Support Application on Poynt by request

6 5 Poynt 5 Pilot Boomtown is now piloting the Poynt 5 with local merchants Merchant is allowed to keep the hardware for free but must be advised that this is a pilot program. 7 What s new with Poynt 6 Search for Notes If you make a note on an order you can search for it using the Search button on Poynt. This gives you the ability to Name Orders when you save them. Multiple Device Printing Capabilities You can now have multiple Poynt Devices all printing off the same Receipt Printer or Kitchen Pritner. Tax Exempt This isn t necessarily new but in Register App, if you have taxes set up, you have the ability to toggle tax on or off for any item or order. Tax would be created/set when building the Catalog. Sales Tax and Customer Code for Commercial Card Transaction In production and expected to be released by Q4 2017, ready for the New Year Can I Screen Share a Terminal? You can connect a Micro USB to the Terminal and use the Chrome Extension Vysor on Developer Kit. Production units cannot sideload apps for PCI reasons. EBT Transactions This is available today only on TSYS

11 Frequently Asked Questions 10 AVS Support for Keyed Transactions? Address Verification is supported. You enter in the card info and the AVS response codes are printed on the receipt. The codes will tell you if Match or Mismatch. Picture Example on next slide. Can Poynt Terminal Work Offline? No for Credit Cards but Yes for Cash or Reporting on the Terminal. How long is Transaction & Settlement stored on the Poynt Device? The answer is indefinitely. Thank you Cloud. Does AVS transfer to the Processor and get match/mismatch response codes? The Poynt device will take the CC, Zip, CVC, Exp Date. This (1) gets passed to Processor (2) passed to issuer (3) back to Poynt (4) to Merchant. Reversals (not just void and refund)? Reversals are system to system generated transactions; for example, if there is a connection issue during an authorization, Poynt will send a reversal request to processor to ensure the merchant doesn t accidentally double charge customer if there s any question of whether the transaction processed or not. Merchant would use the Void function to undo a not-yet-settled transaction.
