1 MasterCard smartdata.gen2 (smartdata) Program Administrator Quick Reference Card smartdata Real-time Account Manager (SDRAM) ffwelcome to smartdata Real-time Account Manager (SDRAM) You can use smartdata Real-time Account Manager (SDRAM) to manage accounts in real time. You can view up-to-date account information, close an account, request a replacement for a damaged card, set up a new account, or run an account or a company audit report. From the Home page, you can view the Company, Account, and Reports tabs. The Request Activity section displays Recent Requests and a Usage Summary of account maintenance requests. To access SDRAM, select Company > Account Manager from your smartdata Home page. The smartdata Real-time Account Manager Home page is shown below. All images in this document are for illustration purposes only. Company Use the Company tab to view your company information, check your company site configurations, and update company information. Account Use the Account tab to perform account maintenance, request a replacement card, close an account, and set up a new account. Reports Use the Reports tab to view an audit summary, export an audit report to an Excel spreadsheet file, and run an authorization activity report. Note: Your smartdata session will automatically time-out after 15 minutes of inactivity. 1
2 ffupdating Company Information 2. Review the configuration settings for your site. Use the Company Maintenance page to update your contact information. You can also review MCC Groups and Audit Information, and other company information. 1. From the Home page, select Company > Company Maintenance. ffsearching for an Account 2. Change the information in any editable fields. 3. Click Save. Use these steps when you need to locate an account. 1. Click the Account tab and select an option. 2. Search for the account using one of the following: Select an option from the Search By drop-down menu and enter your search criteria. Click Search. Select the account name from the Recently Viewed drop-down menu. Click Select. 3. Select the account name from the Search Results. ffviewing Company Site Configuration 1. From the Home page, select Company > Company Site Configuration. ffediting Account Information The Account Maintenance page displays the latest account information received in real time. Use this page to edit the cardholder s address, adjust credit and transaction limits, and update the account status. 2
3 1. From the Home page, select Account > Account Maintenance. ffaccessing the MCCG Report 1. From the Home page, select Account > Account Maintenance. page 2. Select the account name from the Search Results. 3. On the Account Maintenance page, click the MCCG Report link. page 2. Select the account name from the Search Results. 3. Click the Edit button in the appropriate section: Account Information, Transaction Limits, Status, Credit Limits, and MCC Group Limits sections. The Edit button will only display in a section where you have authority to edit. 4. In the file download message, click Open or Save to review the completed MCCG Report. ffsetting up an Account 1. From the Home page, select Account > New Account Setup. 4. Make the necessary changes and click Save. Note: There may be some instances when the system requires two to three business days before you can maintain the new account. If this occurs, please contact your Program Coordinator. Note: The Go to Account in JPMorgan Chase option displays a static view of the account in smartdata. To return to SDRAM, click the Yes link in the Additional Detail section. 3
4 2. Enter the appropriate data in the fields on the New Account Setup page. Any field marked with an asterisk is required. 5. You may receive a prompt asking you to attest that you have verified the individual s identity. Complete the request as appropriate. ffclosing an Account Follow these steps to permanently close an account. Note: It is important to close any accounts that are not being used. When you close an account in SDRAM, the action is effective in real time. 1. From the Home page, select Account > Close Account. 3. Click Save. 4. Review the confirmation page below and select one of the following: Click Save. Your request is submitted and a confirmation message displays. Click Edit. The previous New Account Setup page displays, allowing you to edit information as needed. page 2. Select the account name from the Search Results. 3. Select the appropriate Status Code from the drop-down menu. 4. Click Close Account. ffrequesting a Replacement Card Use the Request Replacement Card option to request a replacement only when a card has been damaged and is no longer functional. Note: Please contact your card issuer to replace lost or stolen cards. Note: Unless a valid MCCG is automatically applied to new accounts for your company, a restrictive MCCG ( SDRAM ) will be applied as a protective measure and the new card may not work until you have assigned the appropriate MCCG. Once you have applied the applicable MCCG, please ensure the SDRAM MCCG is removed. 4
5 1. From the Home page, select Account > Request Replacement Card. 1. From the Home page, select Reports > Authorization Activity. page 2. Select the account name from the search results. 3. Complete the fields in the Request Replacement Card section: Delivery Option: Specify how the card will be delivered. Number of Cards Needed: Select a number. Reason for Request: Enter the reason that you are requesting the replacement card. This field is limited to 255 characters. 2. Search for the account using the following criteria: Account Number: Number of the account. From Date and To Date: Date range is prior 30 days. Advanced Search: Search by account-related criteria. Note: The Delivery Option and Number of Cards Needed fields are configured by the issuer and may have only one option. 3. Click Search. The authorization detail results for the indicated account display. ffviewing Audit Details This functionality enables you to view account maintenance requests from a company level down to the individual account level. 4. Click the Request Replacement Card button. 5. Confirm the request and click OK. ffreviewing Authorization Activity You can use the Audit Summary to view completed, pending and failed requests. A rolling 90-day history is available, but you must search in 30-day increments. 1. From the Home page, select Reports > Audit Summary. The Authorization Activity report displays recent transaction activity on a cardholder account. Note: Approved authorizations are not viewable in SDRAM after they have been posted to a cardholder account. 5
6 2. To search by a company or by an account, refer to Searching for an Account on page Select the entity name from the Search Results. 7. Review the Audit Details. 4. Enter your Search Criteria using the following: ffexporting Audit Data The audit data from the Audit Summary and Audit Detail can be exported to an Excel file. You can export a maximum of 1,000 records for up to a 30-day range and within the last 90 days. Note: Approved authorizations are not viewable in SDRAM after they have been posted to a cardholder account. 1. From the Home page, select Reports > Audit Exports. Data available starting: This indicates the beginning of the data retention period. From Date and To Date fields: Select the date range of the audit data. You will be limited to a 30-day range within the data retention period (a rolling 90 days). Status: Use drop-down to filter requests by status. 5. Click Search. 6. Click a Date/Time link. The Audit Details page displays. 2. Select an export from the Export List: Audit Detail: Details of the fields modified at account or company level. Audit Summary: List of account maintenance requests made at account or company level. 6

Click Download to open or download the Excel file. ffadditional Resources If you have questions about smartdata, use the Resource Center on the smartdata home page.
