2 User Manual for ASM electronic Field Part Return (efpr) System efpr system is to allow visible tracking of field returned parts from Our Worldwide Regional Offices. Field Service Engineers or Managers can log into the system to report the failure symptoms of each return part, trace those parts they sent back and also get fault status update. If any abnormality situation occurs, they can choose to request for Failure Analysis report. ATS Marketing and Reliability Team will take actions instantly on cases reported. 1 Login a. FPR Website URL : e.g. User name: asmkorex\pmkwikj_a Password: ******* (Password used during system log-in) b. When the login dialogue (Fig 1) appears, click on the Login button. Key in user login ID in domain\user format and password. Please don t tick the Remember my password option for security purposes Figure 1 c. 4 Each defective part is required to create a Returned Part Log Click on header Returned Part Log and Click Create FPR Tracking Number, see Figure 3 Figure 3 User Guide Rev01 Date: 5 Feb
5 a. Machine General Information: Input the Customer name, select office, machine serial number in M/C Serial No. field, for example, TE15-032H. If the serial number exists, the system will retrieve model of machine. Fill in the product model, good issue date etc. These fields are mandatory fields which are a must requirement to input else save is not applicable. b. Failure part information: Input part number, part description and failure date of part (Fig 4). Note that part description and failure part are mandatory fields. Click on and select failure date of part Fig 4 c. Failure mode information: Select whether part return is a spare item or not, if yes, input lifespan of part functioning on machine. d. Failure Symptoms: Input the failure symptoms of defective part; includes the conditions when problem occurs and note down the error messages etc. Note that failure symptom is mandatory field e. Parts will be sent back to factory: Select Yes or No. If No, please state reasons and attach photos for easy reference and follow up. f. Arrangement after repair: Select part to be kept in ATS/AAA, send to customer or send back to regional office. g. Attachment: Input file description and browse file from selected path. Click upload button before save of Returned Part Log h. Request by: Select the requestor s name which is the corresponding field service engineer who report and return failure part. Note that Request by is mandatory field i. Click on SAVE: Button j. After you saved the Returned Part Log, a pop out box (Figure 5) will show an automatic generated FPR (Field Part Return) Tracking Number when it is created successfully. Click on OK, another pop out box (Figure 5) will appear which indicates notification send out to creator (Office Admin/Service Engineer), requestor (Service Engineer) and ATS; Refer to Appendix A for details on notification. 6 3 Create Part Delivery Note (PDN) Figure 5 Figure 6 a. After creating Return Part Log for several parts, you can select those parts and send back to ATS by creating PDN b. Click on Part Delivery Note from header Click Create (see Figure 7) Figure 7 c. Delivery Mode i) Parts Return by shipment: Select shipment for the Delivery Mode. Input the Carrier eg: DHL/Fedex/EMS etc, shipping details and Time of Delivery. Note that * are mandatory fields. Tick the parts arranged for shipment at the select column. See Figure 8. ii) Press Submit. iii) Press Print, a PDN note and all repair slips are printed out. Attach each repair slip to its part before packing and shipped back to ATS iv) System will automatically generate PDN number and follow by an notification is sent out; Refer to Appendix A for details on Notification User Guide Rev01 Date: 5 Feb
7 Figure 8 v) Parts Return by hand carry: Select handcarry for delivery Mode. Input Name of Person in charge who is supposed to hand carry the part to ATS. vi) Tick the parts arranged for shipment at the select column. See Figure 9. vii) Press Submit. viii) Press Print, a PDN note and all repair slips are printed out. 8 4 Create FA request a. For Requesting of FA, input FPR Tracking Number as it is a mandatory field. ATS needs to know which part is concern for FA. (See Figure 10) b. Select reason of Failure Analysis. c. Tick Reason for Request d. Upload file e. Select Name of Requestor before save as it is a mandatory field. Figure 10 User Guide Rev01 Date: 5 Feb
9 5 Search FPR/PDN/FA a. Select and click on the type of Search you required on header Menu. See figure 11 b. Search using FPR Tracking number or Machine Serial Number or ALL c. On the status column, i) Created : Created FPR at field by field service engineers/office admin ii) Submitted: field service engineers/office admin submitted the PDN and ready to send parts back to ATS. Note once parts delivered to ATS, editing is not allow iii) Received : ATS repair centre will input received date once parts are received iv) Completed by ATS : ATS has preliminary findings on specific part, view the FPR to check the fault found by ATS reliability/repair team Click Search and allow finding ALL Returned Part Logs created.
